What happened to our DPS????? Silent nerf????

<p>Lately i have had a hard time reaching 1,000 dps. I used to parse in 1400 to 1500 when i was going all out, now im lucky to beat 1100. The monk in my guild used to be slightly behind me, now she is 400 ahead of me. I still have all masters, im all fabled,i swing a 2.5s 63 DR in mainhand 1.8 58.2dr in offhand. Im hasted by illusionist, i got cleric dps buffs, im adorned for all the dps modifiers i can find....</p><p> My playstyle has not changed a bit, exception... i changed my AAs from 4 4 8 sta int wis. Into maxing wis and INT line. Does this do the difference??????</p><p> Im completely shot on this, i tried a million different weapon combos from my bags to see if i could squeeze out any better numbers... </p><p> Anyone else noticed something? I seriously need help here, im about to just betray into a monk, if they gonna outdps me by that much... LAME!</p>

LAME!</p></blockquote> Something is wrong then since Monks got hit with the silent nerfstick as well, much worse than Bruisers did.

I had Int and Agi to the bottom for awhile and before that I had Sta and Int 4488.  I didn't notice a change between those two set-ups.  However,  I recently changed back to Sta/Wis/Int at 448 and my dps jumped by 200-400 on average (depends upon buffs, etc). Have any of your buffs changed lately?  That might also factor in.

<p>Removing one proc (mantis bolt) wouldn't account for 1 third of your DPS... do you run ACT? Are you parsing yourself or are you relying on someone else posting it into a chat channel? Are you doing different raids? Are you starting later in the fight, and the parse posted is EXT DPS? Is the MT waiting longer on the call for DPS in that case?</p><p>I have a hard time believing that it's truly nothing that has changed, and you are parsing yourself and the ONLY thing that has changed is that you moved the 16 points out of Sta line and into wisdom and intelligence lines. Because that would mean that you were getting something to the effect of 300-400 DPS from Mantis' proc.</p><p>And no, I have noticed not a single reduction in my DPS, and I changed from STR/STA/INT 4,4,8 to Wis/Int lines, and in fact my DPS on some fights has actually gone UP, and my aggro control and tanking has only gotten better.</p><p>I have less equipment than you, and rarely have the buffs you are talking about though... and no adornments other than a power proc on my mainhand. So you might want to review your Adornments and group Buffs to make sure those are all still in effect. One thing you make sure... is that Illusionist still giving YOU the double attack buff? Or did he put it on the Monk. Because if the monk got better equipment and stole a buff from you, that could count for something.</p><p>If the parsing has changed, and the Monk is jumping the gun a lot, he may show up a lot higher on EXT DPS parses too... there are a TON of variable here, you may want to check these things out.</p>
