I’m returning to EQ2 after a long sabbatical- 2 years to be exact.  Just another soul who left early on to check out WoW. I’ve been reading up on all the changes and… wow.  Just the fact that you can pick your class at level one caught me off guard.  So, my question (my first question) is about the Faydwer expansion.  So I see they added Kelethin to the list of cities- I’m assuming it’s only a good (Qeynosian) city?  If so, what did the evil factions get out of this expansion?  Seems a little unfair, 2 cities to 1- granted I don’t know much about it so I could be way off. Thanks for any input.Carn

First off, welcome back to EQ2! To answer your question; yes, Kelethin is indeed a "good" city where a Freeporter will find themselves in a hostile area when dealing with the guards. But the city is really only a small part of the many new zones that came with EoF. The evil side has plenty of questing and places to explore even if they have trouble navigating Kelethin. But rumors say that the next expansion will give the evil races a new city as well.

Newbie here as well. I started a character in Kelethin and now would like to move over to Qeynos, do I have to do the betrayal quest or can I just move over to Qeynos and rent my house like I started there?

This guide should get you going:</p><p><a href="http://eq2i.com/articles/Betrayal#Kelethin_to_Qeynos" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://eq2i.com/articles/Betrayal#K...ethin_to_Qeynos</a></p>

<p><span style="font-size: small"><span style="color: #993300">K-Cits have two options if they want to move to Q: they can betray like normal (and lose all spell/CA upgrades) or just talk to someone in Q about changing your postal address <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: small"><span style="color: #993300">Freeporters only have to avoid the Royal Guards of K-Town, and they tend to stay up on the highest lvl (unless they have just 'escorted' an evil to the nearest exit <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />)</span></span></p>
