I played EQ1 for 3 years and then WOW until SOH came along. What a disappointment that is, but then I tried EQ2 and love it. This is a great game! I have a level 9 Berserker in the Queens Colony and have maxed out all of the tradeskills and crafted to lvl9. I am about to leave for Qeynos and would like to know if there are any quest lines I should do first thing when I get there. Especially any that give class armor of weapons. Thank you for any help you might give me.

I would sugjest checking out the Solo Timelines at EQ2i, they are alot of help, and I would not skip many Faydwar quests as they pay better for the most part then there "Old World" counterparts. They also have many other timelines you should look at too, such as the Heritage Quest timelines and such.

None of the beginner quests are really necessary, the rewards you get are not spectacular, but they're fun to do. If you find you level to fast and are missing out on the content, consider turning off your combat XP (right-click on the XP bar).

I recommend using the bell for outside of city areas and going and doing the forest and then caves. They have a few nice armor rewards for lower levels, then head to north qeynos and antonica for more gear

My Half-Elf got an earing (or ring?) that gave like 4 to all stats. At level 8 that's grand My newb Barb however got a silly belt that removes root I think it was... heh
