hi all I played EQ2 way back when it was released but quit after 2 weeks or so, I returned around 2 weeks ago after playing WoW for 2 years. I have levelled my old necro to 36 and finding it very easy to level solo but its a bit boring, so made a bruiser and got it to 27, I messed up my AAs though put them in the bruiser tree when now I know they shouldve gone into brawler tree first . I play solo mostly . I dont really want to restart the bruiser so am thinking about rolling a scout type class , I know all classes can solo if played correctly but which scout type would have the easiest time ? I like the look of the bard classes but i dont think they can solo , am I wrong ? I also played a shadowknight in EQ for 5 years so dont really want to play same class again , I assume theyre only plate class thats better than average solo. thanks for any replies

Hello, First of all, you dont have to restart, you can just start putting new AA points into your brawler tree. Personally I normally find that the class specific trees have more useful skills than the generic ones. As for scout... I would say a swashy would prob be your best bet for soloing. Not really sure how well a bard solos, but they really shine in a group. Non stop fighting as you never run out of power With the plate classes, any plate class can solo well as they take a good beating and keep going. You might want to take a look at a paly as the ability to heal yourself in battle can help when solo. Hope some of that was useful to you

" No real "best" answer, unless in specific situations. I play solo mostly.
