Touch of Empathy - Hows this work? It says target group/friend yet when I do in group I never see it as a buff on my group member or as a buff/slot that I cast on my buff bar. Can someone explain?

Thanks

Touch of Empathy is a one-time threat decrease, so there is no buff to see. It would be like if you hit Reek of Terror (without the fear part) except you are decreasing the threat on someone else.

So its just a buff that works for the whole group and is instantenous?

Cool thx

Well, it's single target, but it decreases threat by a certain amount when you cast it.

It's a one-time deaggro for anyone in your group, like the scouts' Evade. I think the group member has to have the mob targeted for it to work successfully.

Think of it as casting an Evade through them... for their benefit.

As well as working if the player has an enemy targetted, it seems to work if the player has another player targetted who has an enemy targetted. For instance, if you use it on a healer who is targetting a tank, it will hit the tank's target.
