With the new macro system in place, has anyone made any useful macros? I was thinking something along the lines of one that: - equipped a sword - used Bladed Opening - re-equipped dagger however, I've had some slight issues doing it that way, so I'm messing around with it to see if I can make it work

The new system is handy for swapping resist gear.

I was toying with the idea of wearing a thrown weapon with the 10 dps adornment, then making my ranged attacks macros all wear the bow, use the skill, remove the bow, then wear the thrown weapon. So with the 2 sec delay this type of macro wouldnt work? I rarely use my bow, so I suppose if it does come down to plucking strings I could just leave the bow equiped for the rest of the fight, and maybe put wear sheath again on crippling strike since I generally try to use that in the 30% bar.

Oh and yes, resist gear macros are the cats meow, no more sorting and sifting through 2 bags of resist gear to find the right pieces. They get the most use for me personally for my poison, disease and heat resist. Great new feature, well overdue

What for? There are +10% dps adornments for bows now. The only use for the new macros is to use Honed Reflexes + dps buff. To make a "macro" that allows me to switch between bows and recharge ammo I had to do it with 3 macros. With an option to wait x amount of seconds it'd rock. As it is, it's useless to us.

another idea that I thought of (to get around the 2 second delay thing) in order to get bladed opening in a macro. One macro for: - using poison combination - then equips sword and the next macro would be: - use bladed opening - then equips dagger that way, you could use the poison combination macro (which gets you ready to use bladed opening) and then 2 seconds later follow it up with the bladed opening macro (which then re-equips your dagger) any thoughts on this idea?

Good idea for the honed+dps, I may throw frontload on the front of that to and see how it goes. I just had a brain fart though, lets say I did want to use dps sheath and cant find bow adorn, if I use a macro to equip a bow, then use my 3 ranged skills, 2 seconds time should pass right? I am not at my computer, so I couldnt see casting times.
