As far as I am aware, there is no easy way to do this. There is a cancel command (something along the lines of cancel_maintained #) but since the spell number is dynamic to the point of being almost completely unpredictable, the fastest way is still to right click and cancel. Didn't know Inq had much in the way of wards, interesting.

I tried a macro (spell/ability) to chain 5 brigand attacks. I tested it on some npcs and it appears to only do the first or second skill. If I keep clicking the macro hotkey, it appears to finish the rest of the chain.

I tried to simplify the macro, using just 3 attacks (gouge, bruise & flurry), still only does 1 or 2. Any suggestions?

When you push the button again the first two are on reuse timers so then the next two can fire. Until they allow us to use a delay I don't know how it will work to do more than 2 spells. It seems like this new macro system is more like a simpler way of using the old system rather than a revamp.

Pressing ESC cancels spell casting. woohoo 1-button macro!

How about getting a feature that will end the buff/ward/anything with just a double click?

One, it will cast the 1st spell in the macro and queue the very last spell in the macro. This happens do to the macro commands basically being run nearly instantly. Theoretically the macro does attempt to cast each spell, but as we all know only one spell can be queued while another is being cast. Therefore if you have say 5 spells in one macro, the first spell starts casting. The second one gets queued. The third gets queued over-writing the second. The forth gets queued over-writing the third. And finally the fifth gets queued over-writing the fourth. The over-writing is so fast we never see it, but each spell does get queued. The result is first and last. Two, it will cast the last spell in the macro. This happens if you are already casting a spell when you activate the macro. The mechanics use the above logic. The 1st gets over-written and so on.But there is an exception to this. If you have spells/abilities with instant casting and no recovery period, then you could add more then two. That I have done. But it is not 100% of the time.

The macro system is working as intended. SOE has taken the route that they perfer their customers to actually play the game. The way the macro system is set up, it prevents AFK bots from running rampid w/o 3rd party progs. Being a previous SWG player, I totally understand this. If you are ATK, you should have no problems with playing the game.

However, seeing that I have one of each healer type, I understand your delemia. I would love a "wipe" skill where you could "wipe" all non-buff beneficial spells from your target as a healer, removing all HoT/Ward/Vitae that could potentially end in your death or serious disememberment. As it is now though, you have one of 2 choices; continue as you have been by canceling the spell from your target manually or waiting until the thing runs out on its own.

As for canceling buffs, I have found a way to cancel 3 buffs at a time, but this only works with buffs that do not reactivate when cast, only the ones that cancel when cast while already active. Make your macro having the first 2 macro slots be the first 2 spell/ability you want canceled, then enter a line of command /t [yournamehere] cancel and then the 4th line of macro will be the 3rd spell/ability. You wont actually see the text, but you will begin to wonder why you bother trying to talk to yourself. But the /t command gives enough time for the 1st 2 spells to cancel before activating the 3rd spell to cancel. This WILL NOT work for a casting macro (go ahead, try it if you must, but I promise you it does not work). I use this for when Im on my warden and I need to free up 3 con slots to charm an animal. It works very nicely to that effect.
