Last week, I returned from a three month break from Everquest 2. Currently, I have 94 achievement points, and I am wondering on how to spend the last six.

To answer that, I should decribe my character. My ranger is level 70, and I raid part-time. Most of my playtime is spent with small groups of friends and the occassional instance run. On the Predator Tree, I went down the Agility and Intelligence lines to maximize raid DPS. On the Ranger Tree, I put the maximum possible points into the Multi-shot line, except for save for Stream of Arrows. I also have points in the Focus line as such: 3 into improved defensive stance, 5 into improved focus aim, 5 into improved honed reflexes and 4 into improved killing instinct (I think), and then extension. The final 5 points are in improved caustic poison damage, to give a total of 44 in the Ranger tree (if my math is right; I am at work and can't access my character).

I've been thinking about some strategy for those last six points but nothing strikes me as being overly stellar. Improved Pathfinding seems a waste, as does the next poison ability, whichever it is. Same goes for the improved summon arrows ability, especially in light of player made arrows and the (albiet remote) possibility of an ammunition bow. That narrows it down to improving the melee root ability by 2s total, improving the recast time of leg shot, or maxing out the two abilities from Focus that are not maxed.

I would appreciate any advice or insights. Thanks!

I did the same thing as you and I have 94 as well. I am going to throw the last points into snaring shot to make it a 5 sec recast or pathfinding. I look at that last 6 points as gravy. We have all of our DPS AA already and whatever we take with those points is really not going to help DPS by much. I am thinking PF because I hate the carpet and with J-Boots we can be very fast.
