I'm curious if any raiding templars are willing to discuss the cure line in reference to Mayong and his deleveling and ae's in regards to the main tank. Arcane is the effect type and i'm considering respec'ign to attempt to auto cure this effect but all the forum posts indicate the line isn't working properly. Will this be helpful to my raidforce or a non-factor ? Embries 70 Templar Unrest

Not sure if you're talking about the cure reactives, or the end of line ability mana cure . If you're talking about the cure reactives, they don't work as an auto-cure, the way it works, is you cast your cure, it will cure that type of effect if it is on the tank at the time it is cast, and then it will heal for a small amount if the target takes that type of damage. So no, the cure reactives won't make any difference in the mayong fight, other than healing for a small amount in the time shortly after you cast a cure.

If you're talking about mana cure, well, I think most templars will agree that ability is near useless, especially considering the de-level debuff needs to be cure asap, and it's very unlikely that the person you have buffed will cast a spell, of the exact damage type, in the exact time the de-buff goes off, and not to mention even then there is only a slight chance that it will proc the group cure.

The cure line isn't all that great, but I guess since you cast cure spells anyways, it adds a little bit.

I wish this particular misconception would go away. I see it everywhere and it seems hard to squash rampant rumors once they get started. After Mayong trouncing my guild a few times solely due to the level drain being cured too slow, I had to respec to full enhance arcane cure just to try it out. Even though no where in the description, and no where in the effects does it ever say it will auto-cure anything. People kept saying it, so I let myself be suckered into using two respecs in order to try it out. So of course I sit there with a paladin mob for a half hour letting it dot me etc, and never did the enhanced cure icon cure anything. So spread the word, save other people from respecing into things they don't actually want.

Discounting the final ability in the line, is the amount cured from the reactive after curing an effect (the first 4 abilities in the category) worth it? I have 4/5 in trauma right now (trauma is obviously the most useful), and the amount is under 200hp that is healed as a result. From what I've read, the rest of the line is a bust, but are ANY of the cure reactives worth 5 points, or are the points better spent elsewhere in the EoF areas?

With symetry and healing pulse items they healed for a decent amount, were cheap and fast to cast, and could proc other healing procs. Trauma is the most useful though, as if you are raiding and have the mana regen you can chain cast it along with your other reactives and they stack for increased healing. I will be honest though, those AAs shine in pvp, a condition which most people don't play on. With the AA cures in pvp you can sit and cure yourself from the debuffs of a brigand while healing yourself at the same time.
