I always thought the Pristine Imbued Acrylia rings were pretty darn nice but it seems that most of us switch them out as soon as we get fabled (for whatever reason today this bothered me enough that I thought I would make my first post). If I had anything that proc'd 23% haste or any significant amount of dps I would cling to it for as long as I could...not only do these rings do that, but they also proc 23 str/agi.

My question is, why are we so eager to swap these rings out for more stats when these on paper (especially if you were to use both) appear to give a significant boost in dps. Is it because they're mastercrafted and fabled just looks better upon inspection? The rings have a 3% chance to proc and last for 45 seconds...in my book you can most likely proc that and keep it going throughout the time you are in an instance or raid...if the rings said 46 str/agi with 23 haste/dps no one would ever swap them out if they said "fabled" in the corner. I am really considering buying them again and swapping out my fabled rings just wondering what everyones take on this is.

I have the ring of relk from labs, both acrylia rings, and the chel'drak quest ring with 5% reduction in reuse timers. I usually wear the chel'drak quest ring along with acrylia agility ring because my haste is normally less than my dps. However, if my str is less than 850 I will swap in the acrylia strength ring. Alternatively if I need magic resists or range a lot I'll swap in the labs ring.

Depends on what your haste/dps buffs are. Rot4W is worth wearing over one of the mastercrafted. If you are low on haste, the agility one is good. If the zone is more difficult I'll wear one of the fabled rings to get resists & stats, or if I have pretty high haste already. SOE not only creates really nice procs on mastercrafted, but then you can't find a nice proc like that on raid gear.

Most people wear the non MC rings mainly for the resists. + 800 or more to 4 or 5 resist is huge.

When your raiding and you get one shotted by an aoe theres no use worrying about your haste.

I wear acrylia agility ring and Rot4W 100% of the time as my DPS gear. Only when I need to get my resists up do I switch them out, most of the time in that case my DPS isnt as important and I only do that if I cant get high enough resists by switching out other gear. There are no fabled rings in the game to match those two atm DPS wise.
