stats in inventory and persona updating oddly

I bought a new earring last night and wanted to see which of my old earrings to replace it with so I started swapping the 3 in and out of the 2 ear slots. Strangely, the first few changes I tried had no effect on my health despite all 3 earrings having different +sta and +health. Even after removing 1 or both earrings my health remained the same. But when I re-equipped an earring my health would drop. If I put a second earring on my health wouldn't change, but if I swapped those 2 earrings between ear slots my health would readjust. I had been raiding for several hours before on an alt, keeping an eye on my health, haste, and some other stats in my persona window, and I didn't notice it acting strangely then. Thinking it might have had something to do with the new memory constraints for the UI I closed and reloaded EQ2, but that didn't solve the problem. I use Ariobeth's persona window and Mahonri's inventory. If it still acts strange when I get home today I'll try disabling my custom ui, but I didn't notice any problem with it while raiding so I doubt the ui pieces are the problem. Anyone else seeing anything strange like this?

Update. I was wrong, it's happening as soon as I log in on any character, as well as on other people's characters. Here's exactly how it "works": When you unequip an item it doesn't update your health and power. Your other stats change (str, sta, mit, resists), just not health and power. When you re-equip the item your stats are readjusted and displayed properly. If it's a dual item slot (ring, wrist, ear, charm) you have to unequip both items before re-equipping one to see your correct health and power.

I started a thread in the gameplay forum with the same issue.  Others are seeing it as well and it occurs with buffs also....Sta, Health etc.
