Hey guys you won't believe this I was raiding through my cupboard the other day and came across my everquest 2 box!! I had played it when it first came out years ago however I never played it again since and thus have lost touch with it totally and now have no friends playing it! I am looking to rejoin the game but I have masses of questions and Ideally I would like a friend to level with as we go along as I will be starting from scratch. Would prefer people from europe who can speak english and have access to ventrilo so we can chat real time as we play. Meantime please add me on msn
[email protected] and lets talk about what class I should pick and where the game has gone in the time I've been away. Also do I need to buy all the expansions or what ?? Thanks in advance for your help! Stuart

I'd definitely recommend buying the EoF retail box - it contains both DoF and KoS expansions, plus EoF itself and the original game. It'll save you tons of download patch time, for one thing, and you'll also have access to the Fae race, achievement lines, and about 100 new areas to explore as you level past 50.

Your best bet would be to order the game from an online retailer - the physical box version that is, not an online install. Not sure what UK has for that but perhaps Amazon? EoF = Echoes of Faydwer, the newest expansion KoS = Kingdom of Sky, level 55+ expansion DoF = Desert of Flames, level 45-60 expansion Sorry, I don't use Messenger.

I have tried amazon they dont have any in stock... I really need to play this game again!!! why does this always happen to me Can't find it anywhere! Do you have ventrilo ? if so I can PM you details and we can talk realtime!

I too am looking for a leveling partner. You must be able to mentor down and MUST 5 box nothing less than level 70 toons. All fable and legendary are mine but you can keep all the treasured. Please dont apply if I cant put myself on autofollow and leave the game for 3 hours or while I'm away at work or out at the bar with my friends. On the lighter side you'll get to keep your half of the loot money. I would also prefer someone that has a sage so you can make all my adept3 spells from the harvested rares I'll get while your grinding my levels.

Edit: Blah I thought I would get more hits on that.

Ok so I can dream cant I?

Meddic, are you making fun of me ? All I am looking for is people to play the game with... I want to be part of a guild or a community, i want to make friends and play but hell I haven't played the game since I got it at release like 2 years or more ago... I am sorry if I have misread your post but I am struggling to understand what you're trying to say or achieve. I have a ventrilo server if you would like to talk. Thank you Stuart

Oh no please dont take it like that. I'm just being funny and it had nothing to do with your thread. Seriously I was just adding that I'm looking for a level partner to but was not making fun just a joke. Sorry if it came across wrong.

By the way if you create a toon on the Mistmoore server, I will help ya out a bit. I cant be your level partner because most of my toons are between 50 and 70 but I would be more than glad to help you with some collections, advice and know some good guilds you could join if you want. Even if you dont have EoF yet cmon in game and knock out some levels.

Look me up on Meddic or Conj. Those are the toons I play the most.

allright well I am installing EQ2 now, but i asumme there will be a lot of patches that I need, where do I get those etc ? Please do you have ventrilo, its a oice program (small download) would really like to speak whilst im donig all this I hope to get EOF tomorrow and am hoping to play EQ2 pretty hardcore!

I believe you can buy the retail version of EoF from Sony. Check out Station for more info. They will mail it right to your house.

U need a vent server to use vent. Do you pay for one? I'm about to raid so cant chat. Ya expect at least 6 hours or more of patches and just walk away. Dont surf the internet because it substantially increases your download time. Best time to patch is right before you go to bed. Seriously it's a mega long download!!

Hello guys, I'v been playing this game for close to two years now and am always happy to help anyone out with questions and such, and even play a few levels with you if you want, I have both vent and msn, and I live in europe, so I will add you to msn and we can talk more if you want.

You want to buy Echoes of Faydwer RETAIL version, NOT the digital download from the Sony station store. Because: the retail version contains all previous expansions, the digital download does NOT. Phone up some of your local computer game retailers and see if anyone's got it in stock or can order it in. There may be some online game stores that will ship you the retail version, but whatever you buy be very clear whether or not the previous expansions are included. While you're waiting to get EoF though, there's no reason you can't just jump in and start playing with the game you already have. The expansions will add content, and it'll take a fair while to patch all the changes that you've missed over the last couple years, but once you've patched you can pick up the game and play just fine.

You can get "retail keys" from Direct Download retailers (ie. Direct2Drive) that ARE the Retail Box verson of EoF wich includes all the retail expaintions. Its only the Direct Downloads from SoE that don't include the expaintions.

First I would need your password and account name. I will also need your secret word answer as well as the question. Once I have those I would need your credit card details including the 3digit number on the back. You need to give me your social security number and your address and telephone. As a bonus you also get to give me your wife/girlfriend as well as your first born.

I am always happy to help out, I and my also helpful guild, The Remnants, are on the Permafrost server. You can get EoF in the UK from Game (http://www.game.co.uk/ViewProduct.a...&mid=329794), bargain at only £14.99. Its in stock as of now and highly recommended. If you need general help with quests etc, the eq2i.com wiki is chock full of cool information.

Is it just me ? But Im left with the distinct impression that the OP is more interested in finding someone to chat with than anything else ?

The insistency to speak to complete strangers in voice kind of creeped me out. Sort of like when the Ogre Provisioner insists that this Ratonga come in and try some of the soup he's cooking up.
