Intoxication use?

Ok, so I respec my pred tree to get intoxication. Now my question is when to use it? I normally will stealth before a fight and hit cloaked assault, should I have intoxication already qued for that attack? Or should I wait until after. I guess what im asking is do I use it right before we pull or during the fight?

Use it before any encounter. Using it <i>during</i> the encounter seems like a bad idea due to the 3 secs casting time, unless you happen to be jousting and you are waiting at the dead period of your bow auto attack.

Yeah, it's not an attack per say, but rather a 2 min buff on yourself that will proc it's effect once you start attacking the mob, so I'd suggest using it before every fight that it's up.

ya thats basically it.  Use it before the pull and then again if you have dead time while jousting.

For me I prefer to use it directly after a fight. Starts the refresh timer and takes advantage of that couple seconds of looting after a fight. Wish you could use it on the run hehe

It's worth casting during the fight if a) you want the debuffs on the mob, and/or b) the mob will be up a long time, for the DOT. The debuff is valuable on tougher mobs for the raid/MT to take less damage. With debuffs, you might do 5-7k of damage with it over the 48 seconds it lasts, if it's running the whole length.

Anyone know if this stacks with other people using intoxication? Our ranger just got it, and we arent sure if we need to cordinate or not.

Our ranger just got it, and we arent sure if we need to cordinate or not.</blockquote> they stack. they didn't use to when intoxication first came out with kos. i had the ability along with another assassin in my guild which was fairly unusual at the time as most people chose perfectionist. i ended up later changning but before i did I posted about them not stacking and was pleasantly surprised when the devs confirmed that it wasn't working and fixed the stacking issue for the next live update. i think from the time i reported it until it was fixed was no more than 5 or 6 days.
