<p>I would like to know why in the hell this "leather" robe, has all priests, all Fighters, all scouts for who can use it.. CLEARLY it is a brawler only chest piece. +7 deflection... hmm let's see here, who out of all priests, all scouts and all fighters can use deflection.. HMMM, this is a tough one, is it the fury? Nah, ohh wait, how about the inquisitor?! [Removed for Content], wrong again. OH I KNOW, its the GUARDIAN! Wait, they use a shield, and block is their way of deflecting.. darn, I can't seem to remember who uses Deflection.. oh, thats right!!.. BRAWLERS DO! DUH! Fix it..</p>

if you're in a guild that would let someone other than a brawler get it then maybe you should join another guild...the majority of leather items are usable by all leather,chain and plate wearers just like alot of cloth items are usable by everyone...

if it had deflection and brawlers couldnt use it id agree with you.....but it doesnt look like it needs to be "fixd"

Best BP in the game for a scout as well, and if it was made Brawler only I would be really upset considering I would have to trash this awesome robe. Maybe instead of complaining you save up more DKP and win the bid?

Don't forget the earring off of Wuoshi, the boots from Fitzpitle, the legs from Matron, hell make all leather drops brawler only so that they can pick and choose. The leather healers will have to do with cloth.

<p>I used to wonder way back in the day when a few scouts would rather wear some leather pieces over chain. Back then I thought mit was king. But then I saw the parses...</p><p>If its suited best for a class then yea, maybe some exceptions should be made for your bidding (aka T7 fabled bows going to predators first) but after that all is fair if its an <u>upgrade</u>.</p>

SOE also have a lot of leather healer specific armour that no self respecting brawler would be caught dead in,  yet they seem to deliberately include bruiser/monk. Luckily for these healers no brawler would take them.  On the other hand we have some really good fighter gear that brawlers have to fight leather healers, plate/chain fighters and scouts for.  Anything worth wearing as a brawler is almost certainly shared.  Anything brawler only is quite often sub par in comparison.

The only reason people want the leather stuff is because SOE can't put appropriate effects on chain/plate gear. Imagine plate boots with stoneskin proc. Chain BP with a proc that gives 100% melee crits. Chain boots with damage proc. Chain legs with 100% damage proc. Then there would be no discussion like this, but they just can't put decent effcts on chain/plate aswell, best effects are always on the leather stuff.

cause honestly who would it be better on? the lower parsing brawler or the higher parsing rogue/assassin? same with the legs from matron i bet as a swash i hit more combat arts than you do as a brawler same goes for the dt boots...
