Hello, maybe someone ask this before, but im new in this class im going to duo with my brother, he's a necro and have an warden alt. the idea is duoing: brusiier - necro bruiser - warden what do you think? please give me your opinion, thank you so much

I would say the bruiser/warden group. Getcha a good healer, you dps pretty good, and you two will do spiffy.

Bruisers aren't -the- best tanks as it is, and necro being dps, heals would be nice. If I remember right, necros have a bit of a heal..but not like a warden could dish out, who could also do a bit of dps.

Hope my little bit of an oppinion helps, g'luck out there! <3

.saber.

Necromancer duo would let you kill easy things very fast. Warden would let you duo things you'd normally get a whole group to do. It all depends on what your end goal is, grinding or hard encounters.

I did a Bruiser / Necro duo up to the mid-60's. In order to take on tough encounters, you need the Necro to go down the WIS line and put 8 points into the heal ability that comes from the pet. Get M1 lifetaps and M1 heal that comes from you, and put 5 points into the EoF self-heal for the bruiser. Things go much faster than with a warden, but some named just won't have the healing capacity for unless you use the necro to root and joust back to rest up. its tough though because chances are you'll have at least 2-3 DoTs on the mob which makes the Necro root break very easily. Thats a lot of things to cancel if you do need to pull back, and by then, you will probably be dead. Necro has zero tank buffs unlike the warden (or fury) so I'd say Warden (or Fury) will have the edge. Necro won't run into any power issues though (more than likely) and with both chars having FD you can escape from most situations without having to resort to evac or a wipe. agressiv

I'm 70 and I've been duoing with a Warden since I started. I've never duoed with a Necromancer, so I'll just share what I know about duoing with a warden. Wardens bring a bunch of utility to the duo team. Healing ability is excellent, has a good mitigation buff, plus movement haste, teleports, just to name the biggest benefits. We've done a lot of very difficult encounters together, I think the weakest link in the duo would be the bruiser since DPS isn't all that great, but the excellent healing power of the warden offsets this to a large degree; just bring a sack lunch to very difficult fights as they can be long. I've got no complaints about duoing with a warden. It's a rare moment when we have to pack our bags without achieving our goals...some of which are pretty steep. .

Aww, you left one of the best reasons for the Warden: their +skill buff. At 70, they can give you +65 to your attack skill.. meaning you can lands hits nearly 100% of the time even when in your defensive stance. My DPS barely goes down at all when in Defensive with my wife playing, and I can take hits a lot better. Warden is definately good choice for taking on the hard stuff duo. Fury will be nice too, but kind of between necro and warden... bit more DPS, not as great defensive.

For most situations, I'd have to say that the Warden would be your best bet. However, it is very powerful being able to have two people that can FD. The bruiser with a quick FD recast can lead the necro on long trains, and at the end of the train, you can both FD and interact with quest NPCs or items while feigning. Hard choice.

On the flipside, anyone can FD if they are willing to tinker. And they just cut the materials costs down by half...

in my experience with avoid tanks the best healers are defilers / mystics. The main reason is wards. HoTs (heal over time) may heal you to full hp and waste the other 3 heals off it. Wards heal you before you take the damage and is best healer for brawlers imo. Defiler - Bruiser is best duo imo. just my 2cp
