A couple of questions actually:

Is there a better payment plan with 2 or more subscriptions of EQ2? (ie. Station All Access Pass, EQ2 + SWG, etc.) Can/Is it be billed as one payment?

Is it easier with alts to have sellers on one subscription in order to ensure no vendor down time?

And a fun question:

How many accounts do you own? Not alts... accounts

I have 3 accounts and up until the price increase had Station Access on all three. Now that its $30/month I downsized to regular access since it didn't warrant paying twice as much for the novelty of logging into other MMO's, dealing with a crapified eq2players site and not being able to chat to guild still. But I digress lol. I used to specifically have a FP and Qeynos broker set up on 2 of the 3 accounts. Any FP-based class adept/master I got went to that broker, and vice versa. This worked well and I made more money on the FP side that is until they merged the two markets. Now I just sell with 1 account using 6 ebony boxes, which is way more then enough space so I dont bother with the other 2 accounts. Like Bozo mentioned, I also have 1 toon that just stores L&L items and collection pieces for my guild. I've gotten everyone trained that when they loot a L&L piece they dont need/sell to mail it to him.

Not sure what you mean by vendor down time. Only reason a vendor wouldn't be active is if you didn't log them in every day. If you're 2boxing, you'd log them in at the same time, so it wouldn't make a difference. I have 2 accounts that I 2box with. I sell from both accounts, mainly to have more slots (you'd think 8 ebony containers would be enough but sometimes I run out even with).

There are no breaks for multipule accounts but I wish there was.

Don't know what you mean by seller down time. You can only have one seller per account. I have multipule sets of toons and I like to have at least one seller per group to minamize transfering items to sell. I currently have 4 groups that I play rather regularly.

As for accounts I have a total of Six, three are station access and three regular EQ2 accounts.

I have 2 accounts and am getting station access for them soon. I used to box but that gets old after a couple of months so now I play with my fiance.

I put all the evil toons on one account and goods on the other. Makes selling all those crafted goods a breeze.

What hes talking about with vendor downtime is the fact that if you have 1 account with multiple characters on it, only 1 character can be on the broker at 1 time. You can have all 6 characters have tons of stuff on the broker... but if someone looks for stuff, only 1 character shows up.

I forget how this is decided... but its either the last character that you had logged in... or the last character that you checked the broker with. I didn't believe it either until I had a bunch of rares on 2 of my characters and checked it from my Fiances account... sure enough... only 1 showed up.

If you have 2 sepperate accounts, you can have 2 characters selling at once.

I have 2 accounts. One is currently on haitus as I'm taking a break from 2-boxing and enjoying getting to pay full attention to ONE character at a time - wheeee!!!!

When I had both up and running, I did have a selling character on each account - this way both sets of characters could be self-sustaining. If I was in a group, my extra character didn't roll on any loot (unless it was something he specifically could use or needed - like an Adept I drop that only he could use). But when I was boxing, I had both characters roll on loot so my extra guy would have a little money of his own.

Thank you for all of your responses... by vendor down time I do mean when you log into an alt and your main seller stops. I figure I can have one main seller that will constantly be selling while I can log into another toon and play while still selling my wares and making some coin.

Thanks again.

If your account has more than one character with items for sale, only the last one you were logged in as will be selling anything. You can, however, log in with characters that don't have anything put up for sale, and your selling toon will continue selling happily (as long as you log him/her every 24 hours).

Built up to 4 accounts in EQ1, evolved them all to EQ2, and eventually dropped down to 2 accounts after the price increase. I boxed three at a time for a short period but that was more like work. Stopped two boxing alltogether for almost a year and am considering it again.

The changes in the way the seller works is just another example of SOE making a change to inhibit the professional player but ends up hurting the part time player. I play a lot of different characters and it is too much work to try an move everything to a single character for selling. Yes, even with two active account I consider myself a part time player. I don't power level. I no longer work the market. I log on maybe twice a week to play more than an hour. If I have to log my seller on every day I will just consider that a dead part of the game.
