About my Tellurian pet?

Hi, level 16 conjuror here who is confused about tellurian pet (servant) leveling... My pet's stat bar says it is level 16 as it should, but when I R click on the pet icon in my magic bars, why does it still say level 12? How do I change that? Help, pls?

<p>Without actually seeing your screen it's a bit of a guess, but I'm thinking the SPELL that summons the pet is a spell you got at level 12, and when you inspect the pet icon in your maintained spell window, it's giving you details about the spell that summoned it, a level 12 spell.  The pet, however, will actually level up with you until it gets replaced, so the pet should actually be the same level you are, regardless of what level you were able to scribe the spell.</p><p>You should be able to check this by targetting the pet itself and ensuring it looks the same difficulty as you.  If it appears green to you, you might need to resummon the pet.  You do need to dismiss and resummon your pet when you level up, because the pet doesn't actually level up when you do, only the next time you summon it.  (So for example if you're a level 13 conjuror and you level up twice, and your pet doesn't die in all that time, you'll be a level 15 conjuror but your pet will still be level 13.  But if you dismiss and resummon your pet, it would be summoned at your current level, 15.)</p><p>Hope that makes some kind of sense!  <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>By the way, as a pet class, your #1 priority should be upgrading your pet spell, preferably to an Adept III if possible, but definitely to an Apprentice IV or Adept I at least.</p>

Yes thanks, it does except that I will have to check the level 12 spell for it, memory is failing me lol

<p>I have an alt conjurer. Two things with pets to be aware of :-</p><p>1. I think I got the new pet spell at lvl18, as other posters have said make sure you get this at Adept 3 or better.</p><p>2. When you level your pet stays at the old level. Once you ding you should destroy the old pet and recast. </p>
