I don't get a launch pad....

<p>When I start up EverQuest2 it just goes straight into the game, no launchpad. Then after the NVIDIA ad I get a pop up that ask me for my login and password and go into the game from there... It never once gives me the choice to connect to a different server (like German) or the choice to log straight to a char.... Does anyone kowhow to fix this?</p>

<p>I would guess the file you are launching EQ2 from may be the wrong one.  This is from memory, but I believe you will find that in the EverQuest II directory, there is a file called EverQuestII.exe as well as a file called EQ2.exe.  One of them launches the game as normal, the other bypasses the patcher and tries to launch the game directly, and I think that's the one you're probably using.  Try running the other file and see if that works better for you.  (I can check the exact file names when I get home but I don't have access to a computer with EQ2 installed at present.)</p><p>Edit:  </p><ul><li>Program FilesSonyEverQuest IIEQ2.exe --> runs patcher, full and correct launch which will show EULA and region changer</li><li>Program FileSonEverQuest IIEverQuest2.exe --> bypasses patcher, will just prompt for password and will fail if you're not fully patched</li></ul>

Thank you very much for the advice, now I just need to get my gaming computer going again... My RAM was bad, and I haven't played EQ2 in a week or so.....
