Currently it only shows 20 guilds, however I believe it was just patched that it will now show 40 (on Test at least). Also make sure to have all your information filled out for your guild and the box checked for recruiting. I dont understand the system on how it displays what guilds. Always seem to see the same 10 guilds on there daily.

As long as a recruiter from an advertising guild is online that guild stays on the list. Thats why the larger guilds find it easier to keep their recruitment message up for most of the time as they have several recruiters (and play too much )

Is there any possible fix to this? What is the point of a lower level guild advertising that they are recruiting if players looking for a guild can only see the same 10 or 15 guilds every day? We get angry responses from people when we broadcast in game that we are recruiting and we are not even given the chance to be seen in the guild recruiting window. Is it just me or does this need some serious attention?

Every 15 minutes (a reasonable variable) I send out my recruiting macros. Every 15 minutes I have people complaining about how I am 'spamming' (which they seem not to know what it is) and earlier today one person complained that I should use the Recruiting method.

and I am having the same problem as a lot of you; my guild does not show up on the list because every day the same bigger guilds are up there. I know saying this here doesn't matter much, but I request a fix to this soon; a fix that makes it so it will show ALL guilds that are recruiting so a person looking for a guild may see ALL of the options.

The guild recruiting tool only lists 25 guilds at a time, by my count, despite the fact that SOE stated in the relevant patch notes that it's supposed to show up to 40.

I guess that "up to" means that recruiting guilds only see the top 25, while unguilded players using the tool to find a guild see all 40? Makes no sense to me, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. :p

I bugged this in game at least once, and I've mentioned it elsewhere (namely this forum; the thread got no responses from anyone -- devs or other players who noticed this inconsistency), and it promptly got buried. It would be great to be able to see where my guild stands in the full 40-guild listing that's supposed to exist, or to at least have someone acknowledge that the tool is or isn't working "as intended."
