Whilst not being new to Everquest 2, I am however still a great newbie, the reason for this is, that I played Everquest 2 for a little left it, and played it again.

Yet the last time I re-installed the game, I noticed some major changes, one of the things I noticed, was that I only had three servers to choose from, yet I would really like to play on a RP-server, so does anyone know how I can join one?

My second question -in one thread to save some forum space- is a advice on classes, In Everquest 2 I want to get more community involved, something I haven't really done in any MMO or any online game for that matter, so I would like to play a social class that can easily group etc, secondly I like the real fantasy-genre feel of Everquest 2, so I would like to play a class that fits that feeling, for instance I don't get that feeling whilst playing a monk, and I don't see a warlock as a very social guy that's walking the taverns every night. And lastly I want a class that can be played solo -if the community aspect shouldn't work- and I would like a fast killing solo class, not like a steady but slow killer. (I have already tried a mage.)

Thanks for any help!

Larryen.

Generally most "fast killing solo class(es)" are not "social class(es)". They are sort of mutually exclusive. Bards are excellent group characters. They are so-so soloers, but they really shine in a group. Druids are fair to decent soloers that also work well in a group. That might be the best fit for what you describe. I hear swashbucklers are pretty good soloers and good in groups as well. The stereotypical fantasy swashbuckler is pro-social so that might fit your desires.

Healers are always in demand, as are tanks. In the high-end of things, I think everyone wants more Bards and Enchanters.

As far as servers go, don't know why you only had 3 to choose from. I think the big RP server is Ant Bayle. I don't roleplay, so don't quote me on that.

On your EULA screen, where you select "I accept", look at the top of the window (top left, maybe?). There's a dropdown menu for region. You're probably set to Europe. Just change it to US and you'll find a lot more servers, including two RP preferred servers, Antonia Bayle and Lucan D'Lere.
