Hi all! With my new coercer, I've reached the point where I am upgrading a spell (the AoE mez) which I have at M1. Assuming I find the rare, I can get the upgrade ad Ad3, but I can't afford it at M1. So it's time for me to understand how resist chances work. I understand that higher skill (ordination, etc) will make the spell harder to resist, and that "20% harder" resistibility is good while "9% easier" is bad. I suppose INT makes spells harder to resist too. What other factors influence resistibility? In particular, does spell level matter? Which is better between a lvl30 M1 spell with 9% harder, and a lvl40 Ad3 spell with 5% harder? When we talk about damage dealing spells, the higher level version will almost always be better simply because of the damage, but there are so many Coercer spells for which resistibility is the _only_ relevant factor really. This is particularly interesting for the charme spells, where spell quality (adept/master) is so important. I have heard that a lower level M1 charme is better than a high level Adept charme, simply because the mobs will nuke harder - but doesn't that make it much more likely to break? Thanks for the help?
