Has anyone messed with this at all? I've been using Wurmslayer (primary) and Vyemm's Fang (offhand) for quite sometime. I've pretty much run my aa's like most others down the str and int lines. I am sick of dealing with my stealth being broken when using intoxication and i am missing out on using the Poison Combination ability since i have WS in my primary. Just wondered if anyone messed with the spear line at all and what their thoughts were on it.

I may respec tonight and try it out for S&G's. Though i dont believe i will do the entire line. The end ability to parry everything for a whole 6 seconds seems like a waste. Usually by the time you realize you need to parry everything, you're dead and waiting on a rez or pressing revive. The boost to HP doesn't seem that beneficial either. The other skills though look promising and since i wont be sinking points into the whole line, i will able to add to the INT line as well.

Anywho, thanks for your constructive feedback.

I havent messed with it, but just from looking at it I imagine it is going to help with group mob DPS a good amount. The big thing from the INT line is the spell crits really. I honestly dont care much for the other abilities, debuffs are nice, but the spell crit is what Im after.

Our INT line gives us spell crit, which obviously is meant to affect our poison procs, etc... and yet the Devs are nerfing how spell crit adornments affect our poisons. that just stinks of hypocracy. Nerfing an adornment which does the exact same thing as our aa ability. That is just f`ing [mentally handicapped / learning disabled / educationally challenged].

I did a cursory search and found nothing. So i figured i would find out if anyone else had tried it.

The STA line imo is for a PVP assasin, the extra HPs (7300 solo) and the 6 secs of parry are very usefull in pvp.

For a raiding assasin the STR/INT combo is the only way to go.

If that AOE strike would have recast 30 secs and that percentage to AOE would be 3 % per point, i would go with INT, STA... But it is not , so i have to go str, int

If you chose STA / INT, you may be onto something... IF you raid KoS almost exclusively.

Reasons Why:

INT line still helps the Wurmy do more damage (spell crits = proc crits)

STA line will give you an extra AoE that you can actually use WITHOUT Stealth

Many, MANY KoS encounters are 3-mob or more, which means more AOE attacks = more DPS

STA line also gives a chance to auto-attack mobs in AE if you choose to activate that buff.

Extra AoE + AOE auto = more Wurmy procs doing damage.

So, it's not an altogether bad approach to KoS. You'd have to parse it out to really check though.

-Hadanelith Raswrolski of Kithicor
