Transfered Game to External HD Need Help!

<p>The game runs fine if I skip the update station thingie, but if I use the icon that lets you see all the updating stuff it doesnt reconize the new drive as the place with all the files so it starts a 4 hour download.</p><p>What file do I need to change to get the game to scan my new drive for the files it needs to update?</p><p>Please help!</p>

Your station launchpad may probably be set to look at the old location of install, have you tried reinstalling to the external drive and then overlaying your updated version?  Id not recommend the external HDD to run EQ2 though the access times are probably going to vary wildly compared to an internal IDE/SATA drive.

<p>well this drive has so far cut my zone loading in half</p><p><Edit added> My old HD had max 10g free space 20g FTL ( Plus where I live I have to use whats available )</p>
