Shadow assult question

<p>I read that allot of zone wide damage comes from the AE attack DoT, Shadow Assult.</p><p>I was wondering how many in the encounter there has to be to make that attack worth while?</p><p>I know when I solo, if there is 2, I can kill 2 allot faster not using shadow assult.</p><p>So I am thinking that 3 or more would be a good time to use it.  I was wondering what others thought about that.</p>

In groups, it's not a bad idea to always start with it from stealth. I always start with it. Solo, you might consider a backstab because they hit a little harder initially and sometimes the effects (like the stifle) make it useful.
