Hey, One of my old alts is still a "fighter" and he is a dark elf. What choices will I have to turn him into, berserker etc. Thanks.

The fighters are: Berserker Guardian Paladin Shadowknight Bruiser Monk If you're saying that the alt is old enough to have been under the old system where you started general and became specific by 20, then as a "fighter" dark elf you could pick between the evil classes (or neutrals). These are Berserker, Guardian, Shadowknight, and Bruiser. I think that's all of 'em, don't play fighter types usually...

Honstly, I wouldn't even try. I would just delete the toon, roll some fighter classes to see what I liked.

First, your below level 20, 20 isn't that hard to get to now adays. Heck, you can probably get to 20 within a few days. And then you would know what classes you like, and able to re-learn what the spells do.

You mean you can log into the game and it says that? I thought it would automatically ask you in-game or at character select which type you wanted.

Upon reaching level 10, you could choose a sub-type (summoner, brawler, crusader, cleric, etc). When you got to 20, you'd further specialize into your full class (necro, bruiser, shadowknight, templar, etc). They changed all that ages ago (LU24?) to make it so you chose your specific class from the onset of character creation...with any characters prior to lvl 20, you would get prompted to choose when you logged into that character for the first time after the update.
