Installing Everquest 2

<p>I've had issues installing EQ2 and after talking with the Chat Support guys I asked the I.T guy at work and it turns out the CD I'm using has a corrupted file and will not allow full installation. </p><p> My question is, can I borrow my friends copy of the game to install onto my computer in order to play the game now? (the retailer are exchanging the game but it's taking ages) </p>

Yes. As long as you still have your CD key you can install and play the game with any copy of the disks.

It will take a while if you need them all - up to 8 hours for the full game with all patches and expansions. </p>

<p>Also do note that if you can get your pc networked to your friends you can just copy the whole thing over (this will only really be helpful if you have either a laptop or live in the same place as your friend though).</p>
