what would be one of the most unique combinations, class and race specific? class wise a defiler but in combination with what race? An fae cause they were added last or a high elf cause of the low strength? Also I think a gnome berserker or a ogre wizard are not very common, are there more unique combinations?

I wouldn't think Fae are that uncommon.

If Defiler is evil only, then a good race will be rarer than a rare evil race.

I would think that Halfling Defiler is pretty uncommon.

In fact, I ran a search. 114 halfling defilers across all servers. 1804 erudite defilers. 2701 troll defilers. Pretty sure halfling is rarest.

This is fun

Oh and ogre illusionist 73. Troll illusionist 52. And I'm out of time got to go out for lunch

can imagine them being unique, cause they all betrayed, are there others that are also very unique without them betraying?

Rarest I could find was barbarian illusionist, oddly enough (797 of those). There were a bunch of others that were quite rare and rather easy to guess... stuff like troll coercer, troll dirge that sort of thing. They were sort of 900 ish.

*edit* found a good one. Erudite swashbuckler, 532 across all servers

I think I was the 2nd Troll coercer in game to get to 70.

Probably the only Female troll coercer.

Only 91 Fae Shadowknights (one of which is mine), as Fae were only able to betray starting with GU32.

I have been seeing a couple Fae SKs and necros. Since I hosed my inquis's AAs, I am tempted to roll a fae temp, betray him, as there is something downright scary about a fae inquis.

Myself, I have a high-elf guardian. Going to go check the census now. What do you all use for it? Wondering if there is something better than EQ Census.

Dangit, we are not very unique. According to eq2census.com, there are 4871 high elf guardians worldwide, 251 hust on Permafrost. When I started a little over two years ago, I do not think there were more than ten on my server.

While eq2census is no longer being updated, I recall from the stats at the time that halflings were the least played 'good' race and trolls were the least played race overall. Anything involving those races and betrayal are going to be very few in number as a result. Given how little race impacts performance in a class, I wouldn't expect to see few troll mages just because they start with a lower int. There just aren't a lot of trolls around, period.

you have to wonder why? I mean why not more trolls? Just because of the low starting int?

I like trolls, I have a relatively uncommon combination: Troll Wizard. He's one of the very few level 70 Troll Wizards (at least according to eq2census but that may have changed now). I picked a Troll Wizard because I thought it would be funny to have the stupidest race play an intelligence dependent class. I wanted to find out for myself if starting stats actually mean something or if it's all in your gear/spells and what's between the keyboard and the chair. They're pretty unlovely to look at, especially the females, and I bet we all know players who play attractive races (often females) simply because if you're going to look at something for hours on end it may as well look good

I think i found the rarest combo Coercer- dwarf. only 46 of them as of last eq2 census game with and that 1-70. I thought of this becuase a ex guildmate had a dwarf illusionist and first time i ever saw one but never saw a dwarf coercer. Guess how many are 70 World Wide? 1!!!!!! as of november 8th.

I love these threads, mainly because every time I find one I have another combination to add to my list of lizards.

Iksar paladin (seen a few, rarely) Iksar warlock in Qeynos (haven't seen another yet) Iksar swashbuckler (seen a surprising amount as of late) Iksar warden in Qeynos (haven't seen another, again)

And then I decided to make an iksar assassin so I could have one semi-common character. Which is rare for me, so it works out anyway!
