I was trying to do the new swords of destiny quests and could not even do the very first part in the Commonlands solo.

Fighting a blue or green double up undercon just wiped me within seconds.

My wizard chewed through the whole quest with no trouble but my coercer cannot even do the first step.

The problem is you are fighting a lv 60 mob with only lv 15 possible pets around, the mob can cast spells, can have a necro pet so just root nuking wasnt working.

We seem exremely gimped when in a situation with no pets to choose from, i do not know how i will try to do the lord Ree step.

Anyone have tips in these situations?

As a lvl 70 coercer I taked them all, aupex+spell scourge+dots+spelldebuff (forgot name) sonic boom also helps.

2nd mob the same, didn't need more stunns.

If you still get pounded alot I suggest a less agresive stance like.

Debuff (not dot) stunn, ho (finnsih) sonic boom, Ho, other stunn finnish ho if need, mezz.

rince repeat.

never use a dot and the shouldn't touch you, during the mezz you can add in spell scourge/uaspex/mindbend for if they hit you, or don't use mezz and let them hit you at this time.

3 encounter, was still tankable for me, but here you can use mezzes to take aout 2 and concentrate 1 at the time.(sonic boom, debuff spell scourge/auspex etc and concentrate on 1, add in that other group stunn, and you should be able to survive all if your level 70).

Seeing you have "blue" mobs I think your aren't level 70 yet, and levels do add some avoidance/mit.

GL (hope this helped a bit)

Have to agree. Best you can do is try and keep rooted and stunned and just hit with the direct damage spells while avoiding the DoT's. Use Mez when you are waiting for your spells to recharge. A lot of the EoF quests that take you to lower level zones are tricky for coercers without having a pet available. I have used the pet you get with Cazic-thule diety, which does help a bit. Best option is bring someone who can dps/heal
