He makes a mad dash for the other side and avoids the Sphinxes' attacks while crossing over safely."</i></p><p>In the Wailing Caves, I came upon two statues, one on each side, facing each other.... </p><p><a href="http://imageshack.us/?x=my6&amp;myref=http://www.imageshack.us/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"></a></p><p>They looked cool, and I drew closer to study one as I passed between them.  That's when something strange began to happen...</p><p><img src="http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/531/eq2000042gu8.jpg" border="0"></p><p><img src="http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/5237/eq2000044qs9.jpg" border="0"></p><p>I tried to run, to dive to safety between these two death dealers of cold stone, but it was too late for that.  Much too late....</p><p><img src="http://img457.imageshack.us/img457/4595/eq2000043aq6.jpg" border="0"></p><p><img src="http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/7361/eq2000045uj8.jpg" border="0"></p><p>I was toast.  If only I had remembered to bring my dragon.</p>

<p>No, you couldn't select the statues.  The "grey" is an orc at the very end of the hall.  </p>

Just a small addendum, I think that's the Wailing Caves...not Fallen Gate <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
