Downloading the client?

<p>Hi,</p><p>I bought the game a while back from direct2drive, and boy am i sorry i did that now that i find myself trying to redownload the client from them and i see it will take me around 4 days since it's so slow. So my question is if there is another place i could download the client... </p><p>If i download the Trial of the Isle can i use my account to just play the full game? </p><p> Also, I see that there are 2 versions of the trial, a European and an American. Can i download either one and choose where i want to play or is it connected to my original cdkey from Direct2Drive? </p><p>Thanks</p>

IT will take a crapton of time to do it. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But try it out and see if you cant get it faster that way. And I have no idea what the difference is on the two test clients. PRobably that they set an option differently ont he first window that pops up, but other than that are identical.

I also think somewhere on the SoE website is the full game client that you can download, not shure where that is though. However, on DSL downloading the full game(including expaintions) will probly take you 12+hrs as its downloading ALOT of stuff, about 8.5gb worth.

<p>Do note however that it will still take a fair old amount of time to download, and to totally ignore the estimated time is gives (at least for a while) because it tends to be wildly inaccurate (at least at the beginning of the download - I normally find it settles to something more reasonable after about 5 mins for big patches, may take a little longer to settle when downloading the whole lot). </p>
