Okay ever since I got level 47 I have had a blast in DoF expansion, but it truly has been fun since I hit 49 I do not have time (except on weekends) to play a lot, so hitting 49 and entering Maj'Dul has been a good fit for me. What I usually do is log on and grab a nice tear grifters quest (if you enter Maj'dul go straight up the stairs till you get to sultan's palace, go left, avoiding excited gamblers, go down the first stairs by the beggar (who happens to be the mother for a quest as you enter) go right (you should pass some coin guards) and down the stairs and there is the grifter (or you can use the female one closer to the residences, its always the same house for me which is basically straight ahead from her and second door on left.) Once you finish the quest, that is where the slapping around begins From the female tears grifters, go right (there may be some dervin thiefs up, so either kill them or invis past) and when you get to the top of the stairs, off to the right will be a group of Truth perceptor apprentices with pit fighters. INVIS(well you will eventually because this will kill Truth faction) and go past them all to a little area off to the left, this will be your pull spot. Okay, pull the nearest set of apprentice/fighter and let your pet get agro (OH I guess I should have mentioned, I am a Conjuror with an A3 pet and master II pet heal), then blast em down (or work crush/piercing skills while pet kills), heal pet and once they are dead, pull again as power and health permits. I basically do this till the grifters recycle their quest (use your map, once the grifters orange circle shows up, you know you are good for another). Using this method, I keep busy and can get 2-3 tears grifters missions done. Not great leveling, but good if you are faction building (I am going Coins). Hope this rambling helps someone.
