Ok so My main is a SK and I got the longbow from Unrest for him. After playing with it a bit it really doesnt seem to be doing much damage. At least not the damage listed on the bow. Im seeing alot of 160-200 damage shots and I have 350 ranged skill. I had someone make me a bunch of the new modded arrows and it still doing garbage for damage. I see 1k crits rarely but It just doesnt seem to be doing the damage I would think it would. Also The mobs seem to parry and get missed way too much. Any advice?

The primary way to increase how hard your autoattack hits is to buff strength. As STR increases, both the low end and the high end are going to rise. I recommend getting your ranged skill as high as you can, either by items or practice.

As for parrys and misses... If you are fighting a brawler class mob, you will see alot of that. The misses are either a function of the random number generator or the arrows you are using. Which crafted arrows are you shooting? There is a thread here about the field point arrows +% hit modifier possibly being borked..

I'd recommend getting Rain Caller via HQ, if you havent gotten it yet. Always good to have two bows, just in case.

unless you raid, i'd recommend getting bow of bylze from one of the early claymore quests, it's much better for a tank than either raincaller or the unrest bow, my zerker has critted up to 4k with it.

Oh yes! I always forget about Blyze. Has a long cast time and hits really hard. I wish I hadn't accidentaly sold it

Ok probally need to raise my str more then. Ranged skill is already maxed and I tried all 3 of the Adamantine modded arrows and the damage just seemed broken compared to what /weaponstats says it should be. With Death March running it says its supposed to do 793-1850 or 486-1134 without yet I have trouble getting it to even do 400. Just seems odd. That was snare kiting mobs though to test it. So will see what happens from behind the mob on a raid.
