I play a Brigand on the Venekor (<b>PvP</b>/RP) server. It seems that lately the druids [furies & wardens] are over-powering all classes in PvP. Every day there's multiple people talking about it. I too have noticed that the Fury/Wardn's are extremely difficult for some odd reason. Anyways, to be blunt:<b> What is the best PvP strategy when fighting a Druid? </b> ((<i>i'm aware of some of the obvious ones, but curious if some old-salts know more</i> <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ))
Open with a stun, buff strip. (vaunt) Burst damage make sure your resists are cold / heat, and use anti root/snare signets or items.

What level are you, what is your name, and what guild are you in? All three of these factors determine if you get PvP advice from me =P

Simple, restrain them immidiately. Then use a stun, while there stuned unload dispatch, devitilize, malicious assault and then double up. Considering after dispatch and devitilize your malicious assault should do considered amount of damage along with double up. That alone should kill or come close to killing them. If not you have quite a few other CA you can unload on them to finish them off. If it doesn and they begin to heal just snare them they wont go far and as you continue you pound them they wont be able to fight back because they will be maintaining healing themselves. Honestly you REALLY shouldn't be having problems with healers as a brigade. What type of gear do you have and what level are you? The only thing I can think of is that neither is very high.

There are only some things that need to be changed.</p><p> Most wardens go down the immune to root/most knockback lines, the only reason to use restrain is to follow up immediately after you double up using the combo he mentioned earlier (deceitful blow, dispatch, devitalize, malicious assault, double up).</p><p> The only reason why most of the melee scouts are having trouble against druids is due to the fact that there is a stun helmet that lasts for 7secs in pvp, along with that ridiculously over powered ring (signet of light from darkness) it's a nasty pair.</p><p> Pvp merchant items that make you immune to effects for 1 minute is another killer along with freedom of mind potions, most highly knowledgeable druids carry these around and understand they are a must have.</p><p> No one can tell you how to beat a druid, everyone does it their own way... or tries to at least.</p><p> The secret to killing a druid is the STR AA line, have as many points in torpo strike as you think you'll need and take trauma swipe.</p><p> Here's the best combo I came up with (keep in mind this is only if you're fighting them 1 on 1)</p><p>Torpo strike > Trauma swipe > Freedom of mind > Deceitful blow > Dispatch > Devitalize > Malicious assault > Double up > Restrain > Side Swipe > Disembowel > Stab > Vaunt > Revoke > repeat 30sec timers.</p><p> The freedom of mind is to make sure that you dont get interupted by that pos helmet. Yeah Sandstorm is nasty in Duels and PVP if you let it become a factor.
