I've played a healer for 2 years and am kinda burned out on it but I enjoy helping the group, especially on raids. I'm playing around with both Bards and am having a bit of fun with them (with patience of course) but I wondered what other classes, Fighters and Mages, both bring in the way of group buffs.

It doesn't matter the alignment. I just enjoy being useful and contributing to the cause. I'm not a parser type person. I feel accomplishement when the raid is successful (though I can be a loot w-hore)

Thanks!

As a Paladin I bring... 700 Mitigation to all classes except fighters 234 Damage Divine Proc with a chance to proc for another 234 against Undead 80 Wisdom 54 Strength 41% hate transfer from one person in the group to myself 27% 20 second duration hate transfer from everyone in the group to myself 34+ to slashing, piercing, disruption, focus, etc... 67 In combat health regen 1% in crease in healing, damage, recast timers, etc... And I think that's about it

Conjies are high demand on raid.

Shards

Buffs - mit and resists

Pulls / magic leash

CoH

DPS

Believe it or not conjies can heal too...... just not much hehe.

I was only talking about group buffs, but Paladins can tank, heal or do DPS.

actually i dont think rouges or predators really buff anything groupwise. some have hate transfers, and pathfinding but that all i can think of. most mages buff some kind of resists and power. 4/6 also provide int+another stat buffs. (wizzy is str+int)

Coercers, to elaborate from a comment above, have group buffs for Agi and Int, Power pool, Arcane resists (magic, mental and divine) and power regen (two of them - one is 'until cancelled' the other lasts 10 minutes at a time). One of the enchanter AA lines gives a buff that increases heal crit chance for the group and another lowers non-fighter aggro for the whole group. There is another spell that isn't 'until cancelled' that provides power/tic to the group that is added outside of the power regen cap (as well as debuffs the mob's Int, which is great on raids). There is an individual (not group) dps buff that can be cast on multiple people at once, though it uses one concentration slot per person it is maintained on and is group only. There is a similar style buff that deaggros a person by a percentage, but that can be used raid-wide. In our raids we typically have two coercers. I'm in the MT group providing the heal crit bonus, hate buff for the MT, dps buff for MT and perhaps a scout that might be in the group, with the rest of the concentration slots used for the deaggro buff to be put on whoever is pulling aggro (usually the rogues or sorcerors). The other coercer goes in the melee dps group, using the dps buff on the scouts and brawlers there. We both supply power regen, power, Int, Agi and arcane resists to our groups as well.

Thanks for the quick and very helpful responses. I'm very surprised and happy that DPS classes can actually bring something to the group/raid. Cya in the other side

Berserkers can buff a hefty amount of HP regen for their group, can cast a proc'ing Berserk for groupmates (Increases Attack Speed and DPS), and boost the strength of the group by considerable amounts.

Furies as far as I know can boost Mitigation, Cold and Fire Resists, Intelligence, Wisdom, Strength, Agility, and have a Proccing Haste/DPS buff. They also have a group passive regeneration that so far is on par with the Berserker one, SoW, and ports. All those buffs kind of make the two classes a really good duo too.

wardens buff wis and power plus wis and agi, plus heat and cold resist, plus physical resist with somthing else, then they get temp buffs for some kind of resist, plus a defence buff that stays on as long as u have power to feed it. Swash you got an agility buff, and the other buffs are for themselves I think. Zerkers as mentioned in the post above boost all that plus they raise str alot and somthing else I think. Mages. Wiz: you have an int and str buff, ur self buff, the shield bufgf that brings power and somthing else in, and a buff to restore power when hit. Never played any other mage class besides conjurer and wiz so dont know there buffs.

Coercer(usually high in demand) Illusionist Bards (sorry, their buffs just rock, Dirges especially, best utility hands down)
