After hunting through the forums last night putting devastation fist, devastation fist tradeskill, where do I find devastation fist amongst several others I am non the wiser to where I can buy the books I need in order to make this... Could anyone PLEASE help me. I have the Adv. Alchemist's study of Ancient K'lorn and Alchmist Essentials Vol. 35 but still no Devastation fist in the books. I've tried going to the trainer in FP but they don't sell it. I've looked through all the books I on the merchant outside of the tradeskill instance in scale yard and I don't see a "basic" version of the Ancient K'lorn. I am a level 35 alchemist and almost level 35 with my brawler too (just about ready to use the ability) and wanted to make it up before going and levelling. I appreciate that it can be achieved by the bloodline quest but I'd rather do it this way. Bloodlines is a bit old now So... to wrap it up. Can someone tell me where I can find the book needed to give me the ability to make devastation fist please?!

It used to be that you could pick up the book from the regular vendor that sold books in any tradeskill instance (I was lucky and got mine back then). They instead moved it to the Bloodlines vendors... which means you have to have finished the quests up to the point that you can get the crafting books.

I think it's the same amount of quests to get the spells themselves, so really... as an alchemist, it only helps you if you want to be able to make em for others or your alts.

You might want to find someone that has the recipe already. Let me know if you are on the Mistmoore server, and I'll send you a copy free. It's just a regular spell, costs maybe a couple silvers to make, so no biggie.

It is very common for alchemists. Just ask around to any on your server. The Ap4 scribes the same as the Adept3, so don't waste money on a rare.

It shows up in the alchemist's book as "Devastation Fist" (not "Devastation Fist (Apprentice)"), and uses the handcrafted-equivalent components. It's actually impossible to waste a rare on it anymore. OP: if you only have the Advanced K'Lorn book, you probably don't have the recipe... I assume it's only in the basic K'Lorn book. (Assuming they didn't reduce them to one book when they moved them back to the faction merchants in Nektulos.)
The recipe for Devistation Fist is available from the vendors in front of the waterfall in Nek forest at the bloodline entrance, I was there last week farming for hellhound collection stuff.

Devastation Fist is <not> craftable from the K'Lorn book recipes; a brawler who wants it has to do the first few Bloodlines quests themselves (I forget exactly how many) and can then buy the skill itself from the faction merchant at the camp. (At least this was the case when I last did the zone a year or so ago.) (Totally unfair and biased against brawlers, boo!) The quests are easy enough with the zone greyed out... If you are doing them at 35 you'll need a group and some time set aside as there are a goodly number of mobs to kill in order to get to all the quest updates.

First off... Many thanks for all the replies! I can now confirm after many questions on forums and between EQ2 friends I have the answers which in all honesty are quite cleary stated above. It is in the basic K'Lorn book and can only be bought from the vendor at the falls in Nek Forest. I am still to do the questline as I found this information out a little earlier than the replies on here and went and had a look. At level 35 I didn't stand a chance on doing or even completing the quest, let alone, quests. I am on a lowly populated server atm which apparently is soon to change, which is all good o/ In the meantime I've been succesful in finding ounly one other that has completed the questline who it turns out, they're camping a mob and using an alt until they get the named they're camping It is a PvP server so it only makes it more difficult in finding someone, especially with it being a low population. A gathering of us are due to go and do this questline tomorrow night though which ofc, I am more than happy about!! Wish me luck
