Hello, I have recently bought the game and I must admit that I am having a lot of fun. My assassin is only level 9 and at this point I don't mind rerolling on a server for the sake of not playing in a ghosttown. Reading over some of the topics in this board it seems that there is an issue with certain servers and the player population. From what I gather, the Permafrost server is a dead server. What servers still have a good amount of active players? Thanks in advance for any help provided. PS: I don't like PvP and I don't mind the Station Exchange.

Perma is not dead but it's certainly below healthy. However the ppl are so nice there that I'm trying to get by.

You don't actually have to PvP on a PvP server to enjoy it. Sometimes its just about the additional challenge it adds to the game. We do have crafters and non-combatants on the PvP servers after all. *signs up as a poster child for said examples* XD

I have had my fill of PVP based servers on World of Warcraft. The added 'challenge' is akin to frustration and anger. I don't find anything challenging about a player 10 levels higher than me ganking me non-stop for his own personal amusement. Anyways, any other suggestions? Thank you in advance for your imput. J.

Well I am on The Bazzar and on the west coast and it seems there are usually pleanty of people on. Some one is always forming a group of some kind through chat channels. I have also found many helpful people. I will say that I solo a lot caus ethat is what I enjoy, but there are plenty of people in chat. Also helps to find a good guild.

Atonia Bayle is the biggest server population wise and basically the only choice if you want some sort of grouping till your 70.

Crushbone is well populated. In the past three months I've leveled a character from 1 to 70 with no issues finding groups at any level

I love AB and it is also a rp preferred server so if you want to rp you can. If you don't that is ok too.

Meh... I tried. Just kind of disheartening when somebody who claims to have PvP'd before, especially in WoW, doesn't want to try it again. /shrugs Wish I had AI's to deal with all day long... 3 tries minimum and they're conquered!

I used to play on AB and I definitely agree it's a great server! I strongly disagree with the earlier poster who claims it's pretty much the only choice if you want to group below 70, that's definitely not the case. AB is a roleplay preferred server also, so if roleplaying holds no interest for you, you might want to look at another server. Najena is where I play now, and the population seems quite healthy there too. Najena is the unofficial Australia/NZ timezone server so there is a more even spread of population and you'll find people around pretty much 24/7, unlike Antonia Bayle which tends to be fairly dead outside US prime time (which is why I switched, being in Australia). It might suit you if you're a late night owl. You should consider what your normal play hours are, and try creating a new character during those times - when you go to choose a server it'll list them in order from heavily populated to light population, so you should be able to see which servers will be busiest at the times you want to play.

Welcome to EQ2 i play on Befallen it's a healthy server and tons of peeps not the most populated but lots of peeps that group at all lvl's and like any other server there's always that child or adult that acts as a child and like to get under peoples skin andmaking them upset or just irritating, but you just have to ignore those types and you're good to go. Cheers and good luck Guhooc

Is there a way to jump a char to another server? I have a couple chars, one on each server. I'd like to jump one over to the other.
