STR/AGI more a swashy Weapon?

Im just curious is a STR/AGI 1h sword more useful on a Tank or on a Swashbuckler? I have a Tank claiming that he should have had it more than I could use because he apparently needs more AGI, I thought tanks were there to take the hit than rather avoid the hit???(Thats what AGI does). would you say so since we swashies even get a spell that increases our STR/AGI (Steelweaver etc)...

The argument could go either way, Which means you had every right to get it.  He uses agil for avoidance, you use it for power.  The stat argument is dumb mainly because a argument can almost always be made why he should have gotten it because of a stat.  I need the stam for HP's, I need the STR because damage helps me hold agro, I need the wis for the resists.  I'm not sure if tanks use INT for anything.  See the point?  Your a DPS class, if the weapon was a upgrade for your DPS you have every right to it.

Roll on it, we get a use out of every single stat, and 1hders don't automatically go to the fighters anymore

I just had a run down with a Tank that thought it was more of an upgrade for him because he claimed he needed AGI swords, i just got mad at him for bickering about me winning a AGI/STR sword. And i must say that the sword did increase my DPS... =) was trying to explain that to him because of experience of having a pally to begin with, but alas, he did not want to listen../sigh yet another tank that doesnt know his class....

Just tell him that because your primary role is DPS and debuffing and his is taking a beating, it only makes sense that you get a weapon upgrade over him. After all, since you doulbe attack and don't have to deal with parry, riposte, defensive stance, etc.. you will hit more often with your new upgraded weapon, thus getting more out of it. Honestly the guy was complaining because he lost on a weapon he wanted to someone else who wanted it and could use it  He should save his energy for when the mage rolls on the sword next time.  If that happened to me I would never group with that Pally again.  He would probably roll on a no drop rogue thing just to get back at you if he put up a crazy fuss over for absolutely no reason.  Not to mention he sounds like a putz I wouldn't want to deal with ever again.
