Anyone got any figures on what the bear is doing once he is cast? Cures? Heals? Wards? ST? Group?

The description "casts beneficial spells on your allies" is hardly helpful and I have yet to see a noticeable effect in a raid situation.

He casts like an AE group heal. Doesnt do a ton, definatly not as nice as the spiritual circle defilers get, but it is mana efficient. And its a badger =)

So it doesn't approach Transcendence in its effectiveness then? Anyone got any numbers on what heal it DOES pump out?

it varies. Mine is a master and it usually ticks around 230-260 something for 6 or 7 can't remember times. I usually use umbral attendant in conjunction with oberon barrier. Tank gets low on life cast badger with oberon barrier=tank healage while stunned with a regen ward on tank. It also has like, I want to say about a 5 meter radius range, so all have to be close

The circle is also stationary. Anyway, they are quite different but both very useful. edit: bear

It only heals the group and the range on it is very limited. That is the only real thing that makes this spell bad is the range. If your using to heal the mt you have to be in combat range to him more or less. The bear pumps out the heals fairly quickly (like 6-ish bursts of 200-ish every 2-ish seconds for ad3 off the top of my head). They really, really need to fix the range on this spell to make it more usefull. Did I mention the range was bad on it?

Pardon, I was refering to shadowy attendant, not the umbral one =) Dont have it yet. But the shadowy one is a badger =) does the 59 one look different? The spiritual circle you can just slam in the ground and run like a girl, the badger follows you around =P The range is indeed tiny too.

Shadowy is a wolf I'm pretty sure Umbral is a bear and not a badger, too.

I could have sworn shadowy was a badger for myself as well - may depend, like conjuror pets, on the level that the spell is. What rank was your Shadowy Attendant at Jat? Mine was AD1.

A wolf?? Huh... that would have been cool to have two wolfies running around heh. Im pretty sure I had M1 shadowy attendent and it was just a badger. Maybe you are just thinking of our AA dog. /shrug and I have Adept III umbral and its a bear. I dont think there is any difference between quality of the spell, but of course there is always that chance that I am wrong lol.

Shadowy attendant is indeed a badger, atleast at adept 1. Purhaps it changes with the level of the spell. See, Badger, it cant be a bear, they're on the threatdown.

Well I cast my M1 Shadowy Attendant, and behold, it was a badger. I guess I never noticed since he just barks constantly like a dog. Edit: Actually, isn't it a beaver?

Nah, its a badger. I'm sure theres better pics of one showing the full body, but this one is hillarious, so i'm posting this instead =)

I loved it when it was the badger/beaver. I always got a or a giggle when I would tell my group "Hug the Beaver ... it heals!" or "Behold! The healing power of the beaver!" The innuendo isn't nearly as much fun with the bear version.
