They don't show all the damage that a player does...

ACT as stated above is a good one and easy to use.

BTW "control - V" is to send it in game!

It doesn't show all the damage any DoT spell or skill does and it does not parse short term swarm pets. I guess it's better than nothing but I wouldn't start accusing people of slacking if the parser shows them not doing a lot of damage...It's probably the parser, not the player..

It's accurate if you configure it properly. Spend some time in there and play with the settings. It takes alot of getting use to so I recommend going to an easy solo spot and test various configurations.

Swarm pets will parse in ACT but you have to click something. I'll go play with it and tell you what I did later after raid tonight.

I soloed a green Mob and Act showed me doing 1300 points of damage...I was in TT...I think the mobs up there have a few more HPs than that...most of the time it's close, but it's not worth geting upset at someone in your group...

I've used ACT a lot, and wondered why my Dark Broodlings damage always showed as 0...
Well see wwen they changed the ability to name your swarm pets they included swarm pets into your dps and not your pets. Consider swarm pets a dot with a graphic! However if you look at the graph on the parse you will see your swarm pets do a substantial amount of damage. The problem is it's still calculated as YOUR dps. The parse picks up an added member of your group and cant distinguish between a summoned pet and a spell. So thats why swarm pets always show zero.

I still cant remember how I configured it but there is a way to do it trust me. I just got off a very long raid but tomorrow I'll find this thread and give you instructions. Have a good night. : )

I've just run ACT on an encounter. I sent in my tank pet and dumbfires. In the list of entities in the fight, my blighted pack shows up as doing 0 DPS. A quick look into the listing of my personal damage types there is an entry "blighted pack" which consists of crushing damage. ACT works great (thanks Aditu ) but like everything else you need to understand a little about what it does and how it works.

My own dps rocketed Not sure if there are any other type of spells that doesn't function too well though

It is not saying you did 1300 points of damage, it is saying your average Damage Per Second (DPS) is 1300.

Nope, read the graph. Your overall damage output is combined so it dont matter how it's read. Your STILL getting credit for the swarm pets but the parser is showing an extra group member is all. Surprisingly enough I find that my master 2 pyromany does more damage than my Seismic Tremor on a single target raid mob. Swarm pets parse in your dps trust me. I'm drinking coffee then heading out for a bit but I'll post screenshots right when I get back.

I use ACT as well, and I think I'm going to have to uninstall and re-install it. I was playing with the settings and somehow managed to goof it up to a point where it no longer graphs. I have the proper settings in place, it just doesn't graph. And now just in the last few days, it sometimes records me in the pase and sometimes doesn't. It selectevly picks up group members and sometimes doesn't. Odd. (And yes, I'm am standing close to the mob and my groupmates so I am well within range to record their data.)

Also, it won't seperate blocks, parries, defections and repostes. It just lumps them all under the "Hit/Failed" column. For Tanks wanting to get a picture of how well they block or reposte, they'll have to resort to looking through the logs with a pencil and recording the information by hand. However, it does come with a seclective parse feature and I'm thinking I'll write my own regular expressions to parse it myself.

The Triggers and Alarms feature is really a great addition. I havn't used it yet but it looks great.

I can't make the In-Game window feature work. I have the feature enabled, but it never exports the Inventory.HTML file. I followed the setup instructions and tutorial it provides, but it doesn't work.
