This question may have been asked before, but I couldn't find it with a quick search.

What are some of the best/required AA's (KoS or EoF) for a PvP'ing assassin?

Thanks.

Also like some advice on this, my assass has just hit 57 iirc. I filled up the first two KoS ones, the shorter recast on Assassinate for farming while levelling, and the 35% cast reduction on the 2nd tree (AGI I think). Not a lot jumping out at me from EoF, appart from the [Removed for Content] reduction on our DEF stance.

I dont play PvP so I cant say for sure, but I know that excessive bleeding works pretty well and the Tricks line increases all the roots, stuns, and stifles we get which seems like it would help a lot in a PvP situation. Also Getaway may be a decent PvP ability and theres also the enhancement to sprint which would let you strike in and out a lot quicker maybe. If nothing is jumping out at you when everyone is saying they are all for PvP it may be that they are just as much crap in pvp as they are in pve lol.

Well, for PvP, I'd suggest doing the strength line to get perfectionist, and the sta line to get that 100% parry thing...

You can insert the other points where you find them needed, in those lines that is, if you raid/PvP i'd suggest doing str and int, int to get intoxication.

For the Assassins AAs - Repeatted stabbing and the Bleeding endline are nice, 20% hp max hp lost is quite nice in PvP fights.

Actually theres 5 bleeding abilities - not like you could probably possibly have them all on at the same time.

and 5% is on a stupid solo mob

3% each on heroic and 1% each on epic

Has anyone had any chance to parse this and see if it shows up as some kinda of damage or anything?

Proof it even works? Would be a perfect ability for SOE to give us that does absolutely nothing and we cant prove it.

ok pvp there are still 5 bleed abilities and 1 on 1 would be considered less than heroic mob for 25% possibility and

15% if you were fighting against a group

If you opened with Cloaked Assault then MM SB DW and FW for about 10 seconds it would be pretty nice

IF it even works

The heroic tag is just there to tell you that someone is grouped. It does not affect your skills when used on them.

Well for PvP, I been bouncing my AAs around...

For Predator I have STR and STA line maxed with the extra points in Melee Crit and Parry for STR and Conditioning and Stamina Points for STA...I like the 100% parry cos when I group I'm usually the MA and on point...Nothing like flying into a cloud pad of White con aggros and they commence to beating on you...But nothing happens for 6 seconds

For the Assn tree, I dumped points into Bleeding (which is complete)....The rest is debatable, I went from Tricks to Physicallity back to Tricks. However, I'm only at 90 AAs....Once I max out, even thou the Poison line isnt that great imo, but the final ability to dbl your trigger %s would be awesome to have.

Now with this set up, I'm not top tier DPS in a pve raid and I have to work to stay in the top 3, but for PvP...I like it, I can take my hits, and dish em out.

...My 2 cents...

Start with STR line... Bladed opening is great at lower lowels... Once you get some 24 AAs you can respec to INT line if you want or if you like parry and melee crits you can go with STR line... Then i suggest to take 5 points in cheap shot, 4 points stiffle....

Rest is up to you
