<p>I'm trying to go back in time a little and find the screenshots of the 'Gaze of Erollisi' and other bits that were put in with GU31, but the news archive section seems to be totally borked. Links don't take you where they say they're taking you, and it seems like any news beyond what's displayed on the main news page isn't displayed at all.</p><p>For instance, trying to click on the "More Update Details" or <i>any</i> of the other Game Update links takes you to an update notes page for a completely different day than what's expected: <a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/game_updates.vm" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://eq2players.station.sony.com/game_updates.vm</a>. (I.e., clicking the GU32 link in the top block on the right side takes you to today's patch notes.)</p><p>Clicking the title of any current news article takes you to the full text, from which you can click "Archives" in the top right hand corner. Sure, you get a list of linked month names, categorized by year, on the Archives page, but clicking on just about any month results in "There was not any news, for this section, this month" -- even when I know better. I've tried other news categories with the same result; it doesn't matter if I'm looking at community news, update notes, or anything else.</p><p>It seems like the article IDs aren't being saved correctly for the old news items, and newer items are overwriting them / bumping them to a new ID. Trying to follow one of the links from the Dev Roundtable forum results in the same...the URLs are just not consistent because of the changing ID numbers.</p><p>I'm pretty sure it falls in line with other aspects of the EQ2 Players site being broken, but no one's mentioned the news area specifically, that I recall, so here it is.</p>
