Probly a dumb question

<p>I have seen you guys posting stats on DPS and Heals, I was just wondering how you calculate it.</p><p>For example.."I was able to get 600 DPS on the mob" </p><p>I would appreaciate it if someone could tell me the steps needed in calculating it. Thanks</p>

<p>Well DPS is just Damage Per Second so the hard way to calculate it would be to time your fights and then add up all the damage from your chat box and then divide. </p><p>Luckily, there is a little thing called <a href="http://home.maine.rr.com/eqaditu/ACT/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Advanced Combat Tracker</a> that will do all of this for you and then allow you to see it in a graph or copy and paste info into the chat window.</p>

<p>lol</p><p>Ya I use ACT also. It's a good program. To ensure a time hugging nightmare from happening I'll give you the below information.....</p><p>CONTROL + V = send the parse in game</p><p>Wow it took me forever to find that out.</p>
