Cloak of Flames

<p>Anyone here get the cloak of flames?  or you all to busy raiding?</p><p>I was wondering how much more DPS you get out of the cloak of flames over the Rallous Zek cloak</p><p>That quest is a real pain and I like to know how worth it, it is to do.</p>

<cite>Siclone wrote:</cite><blockquote><p>Anyone here get the cloak of flames?  or you all to busy raiding?</p><p>I was wondering how much more DPS you get out of the cloak of flames over the Rallous Zek cloak</p><p>That quest is a real pain and I like to know how worth it, it is to do.</p></blockquote><p> Finished it last night and had a blast doing it.  IMHO one of the best quests so far to be put in game.  But i will say, i didn't have the Rallos cloak (inny worshipper).  I cannot give you an account of how my dps had changed.  I am sorry.  The rallos cloak though seems to be a pretty decent cloak.  I know several people that worship rallos but use the CoF instead.  I guess it depends on whether you have a different slot haste item available (like the wrist piece from claymore series).  There is a 23% haste item that drops in DT which is great for resists and hp/power stats.  The 2% haste waist adornment stacks with the belt's haste, bringing it up to 25.  The adornment also stacks with cloak haste, making your unbuffed haste 27%.</p><p>If anything else, do it for the xp!  It nets you a ton!!!</p>

You can get haste from many items. There is only one cloak of rallos. If you have no haste items and no way to get the DT bracelet, it would be something to consider, though.

There are some nice EoF gloves that have 25% haste too. Sry i have only seen them in passing so can't recall the name of them. Maybe someone can chime in?

In PUG's I tend to lead dps against mostly fabled swashy's etc. It all comes down to how well you enjoy and play your class.</p><p>If you can't get any of the said, you can run through the FBSS quest in a few hours.</p>

<p>It is the Deathtoll access quest line. It starts with By Land, By Air, By Sea in the Bonemire, lvl 65 quest. You must speak Draconic to be able to start it. </p>

i have both these cloaks and with out a doubt if you raid use rallos zek and the dt bracelet for haste and the added 2 on the belt, but cant wait for that fabled cloak out of unrest with the life tap

<p>CoF is nice, but Rallos cloak just plain rocks.  Even if I was not a worshiper of RZ I would use the Unrest melee proc cloak over CoF.</p><p>If you can't get DT access bracelet you really need to push for another solid haste item.  An easy option for good haste is the Zhang Fi 23 haste bracer from Nizara.  It can be found on the broker sometimes if you don't have the time to run Nizara.  There are a decent amount of other raid haste items but if you can't get DT access item I won't mention them.  There is a nice haste belt (20 haste and very nice overall stats) you can get from an easy mob in x2 Roost though.</p>

(25 haste -5 percent haste i got from bracelet=20 haste)</p><p>I have a feeling that 20 percent haste is far better then the Rallos cloak.</p><p>I am pushing for a solid haste item, CoF.  I cant find another, there is nothing on the broker, and I dont know what Nizara is or how to get that item you are talking about?</p><p>The haste belt flawless dragaon hide belt I think its called, I dont know how to get it or where it comes from and its not on the broker.  I am thinking most of the non raid haste items can come off rare drops off certain names.  Which means getting 6 peeps together and crossing your fingers.  But I dont know </p>

NO there are tons of good wrist items that you would be given up for the haste item.</p><p>So I guess it all boils down to what kind of wrist item you can get. Any non haste wrist item verse the rallous cloak- 2% haste (since you lose 2% haste with DT bracelet)</p></blockquote> there are scant few proccing items in the entire game for scouts. not using one of the very best ones to instead use a haste item which you could get in another slot makes no sense at all to me. 2% haste doesn't amount to a hill of beans. the 2 % crit you could get is significant but not as good as the proc / dps mod from rallos zek. the stats on the haste bracelet are not as good as some of the bracelets from mmis, but it's certainly worth giving up a few stats for a proc as good as blade fury.
