have a question on double attack what does it mean or better yet what exactly is happening with a double attack? i think either i do an extra autoattack which makes it 2 attacks for the price of 1 (actually 1 extra autoattack on any malee attack) or i double the attack damage on what it was suppose to do in 1 hit. ( i hit 400 but adds another 400 to the hit. ) someone set me straight

Double Attack is a chance to strike another attack (or 2 if dual wielding) when you are auto-attacking.

The other one you mention is more or like a critical hit.

ok Devs someone fix this then. i am not double attacking.. granted one weapon i use has 1.8 delay and the other 2.5 no weapons delay is 2.5 both hands. i swing bout 50 times with no weapons in the same time i take to kill same mob same lvl with weapons i swing 60... where is the double swing. i tested on lvl 60 regular no armor and no buffs just pure malee autoattack. shouldnt i see closer to 80 swings with out weapons. if i have 96% to double attack i should see more hits i would think.

You are 100% correct you are not double attacking.

Because double atk for brawlers require NO Weapons. If you are using a weapon w 1.8 delay you will not have ANY double attack. You must fight barefisted.

plus double attack doesn't come out as two numbers, it's lumped together as one. It's designed like that to seperate from procs, special attacks or any other attacks that need to be represented.

No, double attack does actually come up as two seperate damage amounts. When doing barehanded with Strength line, I'd see two attacks per swing when I got the double attack off.
