Bloodlines Faction bug - will this ever be fixed?

A long time ago, I started working the Bloodline Cronicles storylines.  I'll be absolutely honest, my main greyed out this zone ages ago, I'm just after the vampire illusion (I love illusion forms).  I started by working with the Hand of Marr, but then Arthial the Protector started on "Do as I say because I say, or take a walk," trip.  I rp a lot, and my character's not one to take orders blindly, so I took a walk - to the other shore.  Nayli R'Ger of the Brotherhood was glad to give me quests, then sent me on to Laren Jadefire for more quests.  She says I haven't proved my dedication and won't give me any further quests.  Tarren Marrsen back at the Hand of Marr did offer me a quest, so I took that one, but now he won't offer any others.  I really want to complete this quest line. This has been reported previously by myself and other people.  I petitioned it again a few weeks ago, and the petition was deleted by customer service without any response.  I find it hard to believe the quest would let you switch sides and then refuse to let you go any further. Take it as a warning, anyone else working these quests: do NOT switch sides!

Take it as a warning, anyone else working these quests: do NOT switch sides! </blockquote> Odd, i did the quest with my main at L70 and never had a problem.  Maybe it's not a bug.  If you switched sides and start helping the othe faction, then ya you need to build that faction back up.  They are opposing sides.  No reason one side's faction would benefit you on the other.

That would make sense if there were a way to build faction with either group.  But the groups don't have factions, at least not live, monitorable ones with messages saying yours is better or worse because of something you did and bars on your faction page.  They offer only the Crypt of Thaelen quest line, which none of them will offer me any more, and "quests" to go into instanced zones nearby, which are access grants so you can get into those zones and complete - with no faction or xp benefits - the moment you zone in.  Killing mobs in these zones doesn't help either.
