What do you guys think its best for a symbol adornment? 1.- +45 on any heat spell 2.- +25 on any elemental (heat or cold) spell

For a wizard, +45 to heat edges out the +25. But if I had to do it over, I'd go with the 1% spell crit.

Electric is right and it probably a significant edge considering how slow some of our cold spells refresh. The other consideration is the +45 is legendary the +25 fabled. On Everforst thats a many p difference in price.

I actually calculated it on a sample parse and posted it on the flames site but I can't link to it from here because the moderators here can't handle 4-letter words.

Depending on how often you're grouped with a troub or a warlock the +dis +subj adornment is also a viable choice. It gets really annoying when half the mobs in an aoe encounter resist you're AOE's (not to mention it hurts your personal dps.)

I was just having this coversation today. So I came over to my Wizzie boards and sure enough, you guys are on the ball again.

I understand the +45 heat possibly beating the 25+ because the of the few cold spells and there general long cast times.

But is there a thread where it was found that 1% crit did as well or not better then +45 on heat spells? I looked for a thread and couldn't find one. If you could link it so I can go read over I would be very appreciative.

As a raiding Wizard that hasn't had a troub a long long time. I try to take great care with my selections to make sure the scouts with their dirges and coercers know I'm still nipping at them and occasionaly overtake them without a Trouby.

illusive as always you spark thought in my mind, about how much dps are we looking at gaining,

and id assume that the crit chance would really depend on your current int, spell level, and would help more with someone who has not gone str,

i recently respeced away from agi, str to agi, wiz. and have been playing with manaburn... even though im still not sold on it on long duration fights and i have the parses to prove it lol,

but raid groups are captivated by the insane instant numbers on manaburn on short parses.....

plus an excuse for vymn is always nice

any how id like to know about where your int was when you tested the 1% crit chance. personally im probably going to go with the crit chance because i have a relativley high int, and im freehand now so the base damage should increase the multiplier with crits.

I have the +85 power proc on the turtle dagger, and the +45 heat on the novum tectum. been that way for awhile. I think I'm gonna get the +1% crit on both of em.
