Destiny Quest bugs: A Water Tight Case and the Gumshoe Guide Collection do NOT reward you with books

<p>I've done the repeatable quest: A Water Tight Case in New Tunaria twice now. Both times I've recieved a reward window offering the Detective's Manual book as a reward. I didn't get a reward.</p><p>I went to turn in the Gumshoe Guide collection quest from New Tunaria. I got the reward window offereing me The Gumshoe Guide book as a reward but didn't get the reward either.</p><p>Please tell me this is a bug and not working as intended. Why offer books at quest rewards if you dont get them?</p>

<p>The books never go into your inventory, they are updates for the quest itself.  Did you check your quest journal?</p><p>The books aren't rewards (aka house items) they are quest pieces.</p>

i think i got one house item book from the quest, and 1 or 2 inventory books that i needed to inspect (the gumshoe collection book you inspect and updates the collection).

Well yeah I got the achievement XP, but I have a library in South Qeynos and I always look forward to expanding it with more books. I"m nearing 300.

You will get a book to place in your house further in the quest.  It's called "The Case of the Ursa Rhym".  Though I would have loved to have had the 3 investigators books.  Bet they would have been fun to read.
