If i am going 4-4-4-4-2 and I have 11 points left to spend in the line where should it go? Is it best to go for less recovery time, higher base casting speed or boost chronosiphoning(and also does this effect last after the mob is dead?)?

technically that's impossible. You still have to spend 22 points in that line in order to activate the bottom one. If I were to go that line I'd put 4-8-4-6-2 to get as many points as you could into Chrono siphoning and the last remaining points needed into direct casting speed... don't worry about the def/focus one, it's kinda worthless. **EDIT** - Oh and could an actual Chrono-Chanter confirm the other question. I'm not one so I couldn't say, but I would like to know because I am thinking of changing my lines after the recent Charm change.

Chrono used to last after mob was dead, at least a few months ago. Dunno if its changed or not with all the updates, but could have it up all the time pre-EoF. Lasting after target was dead, and recast done by spell-end. Very neat, so might go back to it, if Im focusing more on dps later.

Unless it's changed in the last update it lasts after mob death.

You keep it after the mob dies. Just like Gorging Thoughts stays after the mob dies. In terms of agility line, I would max out Chronosiphoning first because it's detrimental to mobs' casting, then your base casting speed. Recovery time isn't much of a bonus at all. The only reason I have the recovery part maxed to 8 levels is for the +defense while I'm PvPing... I don't even notice the change in recovery speed.

Ibunubi wrote:
I don't even notice the change in recovery speed.

Recovery is not recast speed. Recovery is the time between two spells. If you cast 2 spells in a raw it looks like that: Casting time spell 1 (2secs) then recovery time (0.5 secs) then casting time spell 2 (2 secs) (Nearly) every spell has a 0.5 secs recovery time only the recast time is diff. With aa you get something like .. 0.4 or 0.3 secs recovery so yes not really a bit change in time to notice.

I went with the cast speed buff to 8 and siphon to 7. I figure passive things get used 100% of the time, and active things get used when I think to use them. Yes, the siphon buff lasts after the mob dies.

If you're going to go down the AGI AA line and get Perutality, you are best off doing 4-8-8-2-Perp. Why? Because with that spec you're up to 93% Casting Speed Haste, and if you group with any bard in a raid situation they more than likely have 8 in Allegro which will give you 100% once all Perptautliy is up and you have Chronosiphoning on the mob. There really isn't any reason to increase your casting speed much more, unless you have a spare point then go 4-8-8-3-Perp, because it gives you the most benefit of what you can get due to outside buffs. The other thing is, once you're at 90% you're basically at the cap for casting speed so why not put some points into Recovery Speed since you don't have any way to buff that up.
