I think this is kinda dumb.. Hope it will get changed.
It's a shame that this questline doesn't require peacock for everybody to even start it. Or better yet, prismatic, peacock, and claymore. Exactly why the heck are people working on the fourth major line when they haven't done the three before it? /boggle

ok how many of the new people that signed up for EQ2 do you think actualy even heard of the prismatic or pecock lines?

i started my SK right when eof came out and the only epic line people were talking about was the claymore

People have no interest in doing the old epic lines because they wil just get something to replace the end wep in 2 lvls. not to mention doing the pecock line takes a lot of time and effort, it took me 2 weeks alone do do all of it up to the godking raid at lvl 70. and now your telling me that those that saw it as a waste of time must take 3 weeks out of their time to do 19+ grey quests just to learn something that a good toon can buy for 12 s

the old epic lines are dead and the only purpous they serve isa minor bbragging right and some aa. They are not worth doing anymore because, like i said, the reward gets replaced in 2 lvls if not already by the time youve finisht the quests

People start new characters, there's tons of deversity in the game, people starting new to the game, and whatnot. Let see I have 4 level 70 characters 2 of them have done all the major epic quests up to claymore, but the one i'm playing now hasn't. Why? cause i've done them twice already and I don't believe 3 times a charm. Also my character wouldn't benefit from the rewards from the old quests. But it's possible the new quest line will. It's simple in this situation and some people seem to be getting off track to the big problem here. For the new Sword of Destiny any good aligned character can run through it no problem. Evil-aligned must do a LONG questline before hand in order to do the new Sword of Destiny quests. It's simply unfair and i'm sure it wasn't the dev's intentions when they created the new line of quests. But in the end cause of this mistake it's left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm waiting patiently for a fix for this, I don't like it but their lucky I like this game way too much. But patience can wear thin.

So you would only need to have one character finish each quest line to be flagged for all of your characters.

Maybe its SoE's bizzare way of trying to get people to do Prismatic Two (Peacock Line). I seriously doubt though wether any developer has actually spent time farming eyes for access to the Godking. I've done it myself and it sucks, before anyone jumps in with 'wah wah wah I had to do it, so should everyone else' screw that, its a BS system that SoE should change, maybe then people around 50-60 would actually consider doing Prismatic 2 instead of ignoring it completly.

This is just yet another example of how EOF is seriously biased towards good aligned races.Good aligned can buy the language primer. Evil races have to go through a grey con questline just to advance this quest. If sony dont like Evil races why make them in 1st place.I have done Godking on one of my lvl 70 characters where the end reward was actually useful and am in no hurry to do it on the classes where the end reward is useless to me.

SOE has a wherehouse full of unused Godking weapons. They produced to many and are trying to cut down their stock before they go completely obsolete.

This is honestly ridiculous, I wouldnt be complaining if both good and evil had to do the peacock quests, but the balance is WAY out of whack on this one.

12silver is not equal to doing 29quests.

Its not even equal to doing 1 quest

Is Everyone So Sure that This is the only language that will be need to Complete the Series of Quests. I remember that Claymore Required Words of Pure magic and To Speak as a Dragon Both of the Quested Languages. How can anyone Say the Quest is one Sided if you are only Looking at a Small Part of the Quest line. P.S. I Personally Believe Prismatic, Godking & Claymore So have to be Completed for Finishing this Quest. And I have 6 Toons Over lvl 60 4 of them have Completed the others. I thinks thats what sets it apart From other Quest Lines it makes it Something more then a normal Quest.

And I disagree that one series should be completed before the other. They've only loosely tied them together - Godking stands alone, and Claymore only requires completion of the first quest in the primsmatic series. If all three of the previous series were tightly bound in this manner then it would make sense, but to start doing what you suggest with Swords of Destiny would be illogical.

I have finished all the quests up to and including "Time for a Garden Party." However, I cannot get the quest starter for the language quest. I went to the rock in the water, cannot interact with it, also went to the tower of the moon and cannot intereact with the book. Any one have any idea what (if) I am doing wrong?
