Ok..saw the new update and thought WOOT, now i can resize my bags and see all stuff at once. Did it. Looked good! Loggged into another character. Did same. Logged back to original character. When I open the resized bags they are warped now...ever seen a set of 8 rosewood boxes opened up in 1x32..then 32x1, then 1x32, etc... looked like a frackin crossword puzzle nightmare.

So we got a new toy with the resizing... how soon will it be til they fix it?

or did I miss something when I set it up???

When you set your bags up, did you do it individually or did you do it through "opening all bags at once"? I've noticed that if I edit a bag's placement via the inventory window, singly, that when I hit B to open all my bags, the single placement does not carry over. Same for if I edit a bag's placement after using B to open them all, the placement doesn't carry over to the individual opening of them. Of course, this is pre-32 and I haven't tested out the new bag placements yet so it is very possible it's bugged.

Same Here.

I set the 32 slot boxes which are in 4x8 format. I changed the size to 37 padding to 0 ... log out then back on and now 1/2 of them are 4x8 the rest are 3x11.

If I load the UIsettings of a toon I changed the bag sizes for then they look like the crossword puzzle things in 32x1 format.

Let me say this another fine screw up from SOE. What are Test Servers For?????????

Wow...

10 days later and the bags still have a mind of their own.

I thought I read in some update notes that they fixed this problem

I like the idea/concept of resizing, just as can do hotbars (can see all 10 of my hotbars on screen now)

But to put something out that is not fully tested or functional must be embarrassing to SOE programmers.

When will this be fixed????

As mentioned on a couple of other threads in 'Look and Feel', this problem still needs addressing.

For me, everytime I log-in I have to use the /ui_settings command to 'reset' my bags to how I originally arranged them. But every time I put EQ2 into windowed mode, the same problem occurs.

Any news of a fix incoming?

Have they even acknowledge the problem. I don't see any fix coming.

Every day I head over to this thread to see if any official comment has been made, any information has been posted.

But nothing.

Perhaps this problem has been swept under the carpet?

Nearly a month of silence and ignoring us can mean only two things....either developers are AFK watching 'Heroes'. Or maybe they're just quietly giving us all the finger?

Even a lie would inspire some hope guys!

Come on, let us know that SOMEONE is looking into the problem...?! Please?

I have seen people mention if you make your icon spacing or padding or whatever it is called to 1 instead of 0 it will fix the issue. You will then have a tiny little gap though but they should stay sized properly. I use a custom bag that doesn't have the problem but that is what I read on how to temporarily solve the issue with the default bags. They will however still move when you alt-tab into windowed mode, I do not know how to prevent that.

Happens to me too. Not fun.

Well I just couldn't stand the problem any longer.

I switched back to Default bag options. I'm very disappointed at how useless the bag resizer option is.

Even moreso at the silence apparent from the developers.

So long, goodbye and thanks for all the fish.

I reloaded Default UI and everything reset... I did not touch the bag sizes etc. Yet they still change size/shape on their own when I re-log. Most commonly one or more of the bags will go from the default width to one or more rows narrower.

I use my bag mod and I've never had this problem... but here's your word: http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=357254
*** UI ***

- Bags should no longer resize when you log in, from their previous size.

- Fixed a number of cases where spells would give out unnecessary error messages.

- Changing a container's label is now done from the Bag Options window.

- You can now select the primary spell for a macro that contains multiple spell steps. The icon tinting, reuse timer and tooltip are displayed for the primary spell.
Othesus - Dirge - Lucan DLere Vaspar - Fury - Lucan DLere

Two bags in particular keep resizing themselves to 3x# instead of my desired 4x# format. I keep resizing them when I login, yet when I relog, they go back to 3x. I think a previous poster had some insight because when the padding is not 0, it seems to fix the problem.

Ok devs, you've already had the entire community diagnose the problem for you....now fix it already!
